Course Curriculum Overview
Since Computer science engineering branch was first introduced in BIT college all over the karnataka, it has strong base in this course. Teaching methods are good which helps students to prepare well also in real world applications.
Internships Opportunities
Top companies hired students as intern was from Dell, pentagon space, media kind, elluician and many more companies. Projects outcomes are like many projects was shortlisted to vtu project event and students also won the cash prize too.
Placement Experience
Placements are very good, most of them are placed in 2025 in the top companies like amazon, cisco, dell, zeta, phonepe. The highest package was 36 lpa in cisco and average is around 8 lpa. 80% of the students in our college got placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise we were paying 98000 for cs branch, for sc students scholarship will be provided about 60000, they pay 28000 every year by there hand remaining through scholarship. Also NSP scholarship can be applied by OBC and general merit students.
Campus Life
Our college conducts annual tech fest named manthan every April which is held for 2 days. Other events like kannada kalarava, Ganesha utsav, onam and many more. So many clubs are there in bit like GDSC club, leo club, samskruti club, sports club and 20 More clubs are there to join.
Hostel Facilities
Coming to our hostel, I'm in love with the infrastructure like rooms are very spacious and free wifi in all floors. Both north indian and south indian dishes will be made, fees is like around 110000 and facilities they provide are good enough.
Admission
It is totally rank based, I came through kcet counselling, since BIT was ranking top 6 college in engineering, considering my rank and option entries of other colleges I got seat in this college and I took admission. The cutoff for sc students was like 16k may be when I joined..
Faculty
Faculty strength is fair enough.. All faculty are soo friendly towards students. Especially HOD Girija mam and suneetha mam are soo calm and nice to students. There is nothing like failing and all, almost all students will pass, worst case 5% chances are there.
Night Life
Since I stay in girls hostel which is little bit far from college I don't know much hangout places near college. But the famous food street is near and many snacks centre are available where students will be rushed there every day. campus is open 24 hrs since boys hostel is inside the campus. Hostel closes at 11 pm for boys hostel. But the campus will be open with security facility.
