Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course of robotics and artificial intelligence in Bangalore institute of technology has a very wide scope compared to any other college in India for this course. They have robots costing over 2 crores and a lot of machineries to help you understand and experience is course to your fullest. The faculties associated with this course are also better and well experienced, qualifed than those of other courses. The exams are also easy and the syllabus is very less thus providing you independent to do the stuffs of your choice

Placement Experience

5

Students of the 6th semester become eligible for internships and those of the 7th semester become eligible for campus placements. Top recruiters are Tata Wipro Infosys TCS, Dell HP. Almost all the students require more than 6 cgpa are getting placed. Percentage of students getting placed is 75% the rest of the students either go for entrepreneurship or higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying 280000 rupees per year right now as per 2024 tution fees. This fee is for admission through comedk. The fee for kcet students is 120000 per annum. Comedk students cannot avail any scholarship but kcet students have certain scholarships which can be availed. They will be told about those during time of admission.

Campus Life

2

Campus life as mentioned above is zero in this college but other aspects such as library comma classrooms are good and well furnished. There are a lot of canteens providing very good food at a reasonable price. The college was 3 stationary shops, 2 parking lots and a small quadrangle where all the sports activity take place

Hostel Facilities

4

It is very tough to get a hostel inside the college because it is already accomated generally so you will be referred to the PGS and hostels nearby, the most famous being hotel Janpath where I stay and it costs 10k per month including all expenses. The BIT hostel costs 135000 per annum

Admission

I got this college with a comedk rank of around 21k. I will not say that this was the best option I could get at that rank. I would have got NIE Mysore which was a better option but for this branch of robotics and artificial intelligence BIT is the best.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is 40 to 1 which is decent. The first year faculties are quite chill and they will make you feel comfortable in the college. But as you pass out in the next years in the faculties start showing their true colour. The entire semester is divided into three examinations. 2 are internals while 1 is semester end exam. The weightage of internals and externals is equal. The exams are quite easy to clear and your surely mantain a good CGPA.

Interview Experience

3

I see admission to comedk. The college except admission through comedk, KCET as well as managament quota. The cutoff is around 7k for CSE (COMEDK). The management quota fee is around 5 LPA. A 5 day Student induction program takes place after u seek admission in the college.

Night Life

5

One of the best among all colleges in India the college provides with a lot of independence. One can do night outs with friends in the vibrant city of Bangalore which has a brilliant night culture. People generally go out to hang out in Kormangala or church street which are just 5-6 kms away from the campus. The college hostel has a gym which is hardly having few equipments. It has three canteens which are really good.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
