I took a joint entrance test for b.tech course under ggsipu ie guru gobind singh indraprastha university.I scored rank of 9000 and choose gtbit college because the location is near to my house and good placement companies offer jobs around placement session i choose information technology field because it has good scope and wide area of job opportunities. Even electronic and electrical students are placed in it company. then why to do something which won't be helpful in.future. This era belongs to computer so doing information technology and computer science are good option for btech.admission process was very easy. every year around decemer forms are released. you have to fill them and clear the entrance.

well course is well layed out by university. as this college is under govt so no bad practices are followed. Every semester two sessional of 30 marks are held which carry there marks in external main exams.Credit system allows student to be serious for clearing subjects.faculty of gtbit is educated and helpful. But being sikh minority college which gtbit is faculty is partial towards sikh student. Otherwise there is transparency in college system.

Not many companies offered internship in our college.There was one company that came last summer which was google. Selection process was rigorous. Though college did held some practise sessions for student facing interviews and group discussions for first time.

There is quite good placement and job opportunities. But to be eligible for jobs you have to be all clear through out your degree. Companies like sapient,sap,google,accenture,infosys do visit every year to provide jobs with good package of around 3-4 lakhs.

Gtbit every year arranges culture and tech festival. Funds are provided in nice number from college. Faculty and staff help in contributing towards ideas. If budget allows a famous punjabi celebrity is also calledlike last time sheri maan was called to perform.

No there is no kind of scholarships provided by ip university for students.

Gender ratio is quite good in our college being sikh minority college sikh are benefited all around the year be it forming societies or participating in events. There is lot of politics with this thing. You can pick any society of our college and most of the organisers are sikh.Economic status of our college is excellent. recently whole college was fitted with air conditioning system. Each class having around 2 spilt ac's sikh religion is widely followed in our college. There is even gurudware in our college.drama society,music society,divine society etc are quite active in participation. they have achieved well also.

There is no hostel and mess facility available with our college. Though there are pg available nearby. Rent of them depends on condition and facilities.

Seniors are not quite into juniors reason being the different building. All the seniors are placed in diff building. so interactions become quite less. So for that i'll rate 4/10you do interact if u r in some society.Alumini was invited once during my 3 yrs of college.Meetup was arranged and it was well organized by college and every student interacted.So for that i'll rate 7/10.
