Remarks

Positive remark is that rules and regulations are properly followed and Classes are held regularly on time. The negative remark is that placement at very less. Any infrastructure or equipment is damaged it could not repair on time.

i am b.tech electical engineering student and my opinion regarding couse curriculum is very good ,they provide us practical knowledge as well as theorotical knowledge ,there should be industry week in every semester in which many experts are invited and they share their experience in field

Yes, college provide many opportunities for jobs and placements. They companies comes in our campus is limited but package is average,there are many branches in our college,so placement depends on the type of branch you have taken

College Events

There are many event celebrated in our college such as: Tech festival, Youth festival, Fresher festival, Talent hunt, Sports meet, Dj nights, And So on. These all events are celebrated in well behave manner and special chief guest are invited in these events.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of this college is feasible,so that every middle class student can afford,and our college also provide many facilities,like library,wifi facilities, College has good infrastructure and has many utilites like medical facilities,computers for learning online education

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes college provide many scholarships , depend upon the types of different states government provided to their student like in punjab pms scholarship is given to minority students - who comes in reserved category and their parents income are very less

Campus Life

there are extracurricular activities are organized time to time like football,cricket -a special coach is assigned for student to get proper coaching of playing game in all days, in labs various computers are installed and the class is 3-4 hours for practical

Hostel Facilities

yes hostel has very not very well facities , like in this hostel there are very few rooms to reside ,water is not clean, unhygienic food are given in mess,hostel fee is increased in last year,so i prefer pg outside the college to reside

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

In Alumni meet senior students of different branch are come in college and gave expert talk to enlighten student for earning job opportunities and to face interview in various field. They are very helpful for the students to build confidence

Admission

i got admission in this college on basis of management quota and my jee main score is very less but it doesnot matter ,take admission quicly because there were few seats in this quota ,you have to gave donation at time of admission

Faculty

our faculty staff of dav institute of engineering and technology is well qualified and very helpful nature,they also provide guidance for clearing semester exam and they help us for personality development and project guidance they also help for clearing our doubts

supportive campus environment with the comfortable in the classess
faculty most faculty members are very much supportive and they guide the students in the right way only
events are there in the campus provided by the campus.

limited practical exposure is provided by the campus and also there should be more hand on international events

placements at my college are very very good, as everybody gets the chance to sit for the placements at the same level. we get the placement oportunities at the 6th semster also. in my brancg it is very good

A Vibrant Campus with good learning and great opportunities

Likes

good infrastructure , large libraries and practical labs
helpful and large opportunities in campus

Dislikes

class size can be large , it helps every child to interact
academic work is quite high , the schedule may feel hectic especially during examination

The curriculum is relevant and covers core cse subjects like programing DSA and DBMS . it provides good fundamental for placements and further studies , more practical projects and industry based teaching would improve it .

75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

I like the most about the college the placement criteria and the way built your confidence
Also the hostel is very good and provide food 4 times
The campus explorer is also very nice according to me

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Affordable and Worth it !

I have chosen this college because it is near my house and have a good placement record. The college provides stable jobs in the placements. I have even applied for lpu, Dav University but this college is worth it. Dav University doesnt offer that much placements and LPU is very overrated. The admission process is very easy here. Students have to just score more than 80 percent for cse core btech or must be appeared in jee mains examination. Admission doesnt take that much time. Its very simple.
