Remarks

The college is very good. It has a very good infrastructure and lab facilities. It is NAAC accredited. It promotes the extra curricular activities of the students along with the course curriculum. It has a good ambience.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum is great. It is acceptable to almost every student. The course curriculum is decided by the government. So the curriculum considers the capacity of all students. Also, the quality of the curriculum is not compromised.

Placement Experience

4.5

Eventhough the college do not provide any internship, they do give credit points for the internship done outside the college. The placements and job opportunities are very high. Even the alumni helps in bringing companies to the college.

College Events

5

Xplore'19 - 5th National Cultural Techno Management Fest Yukthi- technical fest Melange - Cultural fest Sampark- outreach of shastra conducted by IIT. SHE hackathon - a camp hackathon for girl coders. Sangrah - technical fest

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. Since it is a government college, the fees is very low. An amount lesser than 10000 need to be payed by the student. The college provides many scholarship programs. So the fee amount again decreases.

Fees and Financial Aid

To all the students who have their income below 1 lakh per year, a scholarship called e-grantz is approved by the college without considering their score, caste and religion. This is one of the scholarship provided by the college.

Campus Life

4

There are a lot of extra curricular activities. Atleast one technical festival is conducted in each year. Other than technical fest, sports day, cultural festivals, department competitions etc. are encouraged very much. The lab facilities are also very good.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel infrastructure is very cool. A room is given to 4 people. Each of the students gets separate bed for them. The curfew time is 9.30pm. So, the hostlers can stay at the college for educational purposes till 9.30. The college hostels are at a walkable distance.

Alumni/Alumna

They are really good. They ny companies to the college for placement purposes. These companies include the companies in which they are working. These companies also include the companies in which they have other associates.

Admission

The admission was based on entrance exam. The entrance exam was called KEAM. After the exam, the ranklist was published. Then the trial list of colleges. I was immediately admitted to this college. A date was told for joining. I saw my college for the first time. You have to pay for the caution deposit.

Faculty

5

The faculties are well educated. They are employed by the government after passing many competitive exams. There are many permanent faculties as well as many guest lectures in the college. They are mainly recruited by PSC Exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is the worst. Teachers rush through the portions so that they can finish at the earliest. It may be because the university has a unjustifiable timetable. There is very little practicals given. The ones that are given are just for namesake.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.
