Remarks
The college is selected for digital launch of programs for skill & entreprenuership development by honourable prime minister shri. Narendra modiji on february 03, 2019 the college almost consist of all the positive aspects and there almost zero comments of negative aspects.it can be considered as the record of the college to maintain a positive remark for so many years.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the college is autonomous the college follows there own courses curriculum. The college consist of a good courses curriculum and it is advanced from the mumbai university. All the syllabus that are in the sybsc of the mumbai university ,are brought down to the fybsc of the ruia college. The college looks for the advance preparation of the students because of which they brought down all the syllabus of sybsc and tybsc to fybsc and sybsc respectively.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite much feasible. Our college is a government institute, has quite low fees and for girls, it has a freeship and for boys, it is hardly 1500 per annum. But for vocational subjects, the cost for a particular subject is about 25k. The college also provide railway concession.
Campus Life
The college provides us a great extracurricular activities that helps us to prosper. The college has a great arena that hels the students not only to make there future in but also in the other fields of life. The are great alumni which have made there career in different field eg.sonali bendra,ashwini bhide-despande,ajit wadekar,manohar joshi. This is all because of the extracurricular activities sports provided by this college. The college has many of the sports program like the summer sports competition which includes cricket,football,carrom,table tennis etc.the college also has a lab program like the infinity conducted by the physics Department of the college. The college also takes to the camp for each department we have a different camp.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a very great link with the alumni as the college has its ruia alumni Association which help the students to take the guidance form the alumni. Recently dinesh thakur which is a mathematician and a professor of mathematics at University of Rochester. Before moving to Rochester, Thakur was a professor at University of Arizona. His main research interest is number theory. Professor dinesh thakur helped the students in prime numbers the college conducts seminar of all the alumni which help the students.
Admission
I got admission in ruia college of fybsc in 2019 in june from the 12 marks , as the college was having reservation,I got admission through the reservation category. The admission process was simple the college declares a from for the admission in the college from the college website,once we fill the from we have to make the only payment,and wait for the merit list there are in total three merit list.after my appeared in the merit list I went to the college and confirmed my admission and took the temporary id card.And thus my admission process was completed
Faculty
The college has a very good faculty which clears each and every doubts students possess in there mind the college faculty give students extra time to clear students doubts. The faculty encourages students to participate in all the programs that can jave the students to grow. Each and detail explanation is provided to the students. Overall the faculty is the best.
