My review for Future Institute Of Engineering and Management

The only negative thing is the roadz that connects our college with the rest. The corrupt government does not look after it. The locals residing there also filed several complaints and held strikes but all in vain.

B.Tech is a 4 year course. The curriculum is quite diverse and we have 8 semester and practical examinations along these 4 years along with 2 internal exams before each semester. The first year syllabus is same for every department.

Our college holds a good placement record. Our placement officer is very hard working and very keen to get all of her students placed in their respective fields. Yes our college provides internships during the 3rd year. I am just a 1st year freshee so I have experience on this field.

Our college organises events throughout the year both technical and non technical. We have 4 clubs. Culrav : Which organises cultural events. Xplorica : Which organises technical events Estrella : Which focuses on film making, photography, script writing and all these. Sportivo : As the name suggests, is the official sports club of our collge. All these clubs organise events all throughout the year.

The fees structure is quite feasible according to me. We pay 40k per sem, i.e , 80k per year. And our course gets completed in and around 3 lakh 20 thousand. There are college sponsored hostels all infront of the college, reducing the transport cost.

Our college provides loan facilities, to all meritorious students who have got a decent rank in the Joint Entrance Examination. Our college has tie ups with several banks which help the needy students to arrange their loans.

As I mentioned earlier our college organises various events all throughout the year. Our teachers also encourage us to take part in all these events. Our labs, sports facilities are excellent. It just lacks a good football and cricket ground.

Our alumni network and seniors are super helpful and always help us in different aspects of life. During the initial days of my college, various alumni who are now well settled in their lives came and motivated us to do well and also gave us tips to do so.

I appeared for West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). My rank was around 26k. Then I appeared for the online counselling of WBJEE and went to the respective reporting centre, and then got allotted in this college.

Our college provides one of the best faculties in the city of Kolkata. Our r respect teachers have a predefined knowledge about the topics which they teach. We have 3-4 teachers for a particular subject and each teacher is excelled in a particular topic.
