Remarks
They take a lot of fines. The college is not as I expected. They have many negatives. And it's a very small campus. They take huge amount of fines for very small mistakes. If we do not wear the college id they will take more money than what punishment the small mistake deserves.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course civil engineering is good. It has a good scope but we should ge a government job. Otherwise it will be very difficult. So we should try for a government job. The college is very good. The teachers are well experienced. There are 3 internals for every semester.
Placement Experience
There are good number of placements done in our college but we are not being told anything about that. Some seniors told that there will be internship provided. I don't know about that yet as I am in 2nd year only.
College Events
There are many events taking place in our college. There is a fest called sargam. It is one of the biggest college fests in bangalore. Most of the students and people from outside the college come to this fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees they are charging is a bit high than what is necessary. They simply put huge amount of fines for small mistakes. They take more money. They have also removed a senior sir for taking the students side on the hike in the fees which was not necessary.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I have not received any kind of scholarship from the college. There might be good scholarships given but am not getting any of that as I come under the general merit category. Few of my friends have got some money through scholarships.
Campus Life
There is good scope given to the extracurricular activities in our college. We have won many trophy last year in sports. They give good importance for the sports. Few sports coaches are very good and well experienced.
Hostel Facilities
No am not a hostellite. The hostel facilities are good except the food. They only make the food which the North indians like. So the South indians may not like the food they are giving. Other than that the hostel is good.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes few seniors were really helpful. They tell us how the teachers are and how the exams will be. So that we can be well prepared for the exams. They also explain some of the concepts of the subject if we find it difficult.
Admission
My friend told that this college is good. So during option entry, I put this college in the list. I waited for the results to come. Then I got civil department in this new horizon college in the mock allotment.
Faculty
The college faculty is very good. They are experienced but few teachers don't know the way of teaching only. They just simply teach to complete the syllabus. Few are not experienced at all. The lab instructors are not that good.
