Remarks

During the election period, students creates lot of nuisance like they used to come to the classrooms in between the lecture and start their speech or appeals for the votes. The candidates participating in elections were not really friendly with the students like sometimes it feels irritating.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

At first starting days of college, there was no proper classes because i didn't know my subject teachers. when i came to know my time table, then i took all my classes accordingly. All the teachers were friendly and very much supportive. Syllabus was not that much hectic and we also got homework to do like we have to come by studying the next day topic. Teachers were also there for help if we were stuck in between.

Placement Experience

2

There was different kind of internships according to the respective fields. Many company's came for the interview.

College Events

3.5

In starting we have two kinds of fresher's party, one is official other one is unofficial for all the freshers where the heads of the department has also called the performers like singers, dance group from different colleges. In unofficial party we can go the the cafe's. Every week different departments has there own competitions and plays in order to showcase the talents of the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

According to my course, the fees for 1 year was RS.7,000. If i include all the expenses like canteen's food, convenience, as the food rate was not that high the if we compare to the expenses of private colleges. Overall the fees of Government colleges are not that expensive compared to the fees of private colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, i haven't applied for any scholarship or educational loan during my college time. But, if anyone wants to go for the scholarship or educational loan can go to our college website.

Campus Life

4.5

I will not say that my campus life was very good or amazing, but it was ok-ok. To be very honest, we all have thought that college life is way more better that the school life, but somewhere school life was the best because in schools teachers were there to scold if we make any mistakes, but in college life no one is going to scold you. in college, there was less extra curricular activities, Students was more indulged in the elections or outside work.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, seniors were very helpful and polite irrespective of the age, seniority, class, etc. They helped me in my every difficult situations.

Admission

I have got admission according to the cut-off. I went to college with all my documents that i have submitted in the college in order to check all the general information, then i got one form through one of the coordinator that has to be filled within half an hour. After i waited for 2-3 hours in order to get confirmation of the admission.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty was good, not up to the mark but we have the best Auditorium in whole Delhi university. Canteen was spacious but the food quality was not good. There was a two big playgrounds in which the students can play cricket, basket ball, etc. I also enjoyed the election period as my college is known for the election. Classes were also good, well furnished.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting
