I appeared for JEE in 2012 and secured a rank about 2000. Electrical Engineering was my passion. Techno India was one of the private engineering colleges, which had the Electrical Engineering Course present from the early days, back in 2001. Hence I chose this college.

I had not gone for any internship. But some of my other friends had managed some internship.

Placement opportunities are excellent. Infact from the previous batch of Electrical Engineering, almost 80% of the students were placed at big organizations.

There are 2 fests: the cultural fest and the technical fest. Both are too good.

There are some scholarship schemes such as tuition fee waiver (TFW) and West Bengal Freeship Scheme (WBFS).

Labs are excellent with excellent faculty and assistants. Gender ratio is quite even. Extracurricular activities are there such as Robotics, and some of my friends are interested in those.

There is no college hostel, however there are some paying guest house and mess nearby. Food quality is quite good, and rates are also cheap.

Senior students and Alumni network are excellent. Senior students are very interactive and helpful.
