The College is very good. Ranked among best Engineering colleges in Mumbai and also all over Maharashtra. The campus is splendid with Bhavan's lake and great green Garden. The Campus has schools, colleges and even SPJIMR management College.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum for Mumbai University is set mostly by my college H.O.Ds and now that it has become Autonomous like VJTI, with inclusion of many skills for marking, our college curriculum has been enhanced.
Internships Opportunities
Our College has a Placement Cell. Companies do come for internships in our college in 3rd year. We can also meet placement cell to get internships officially. Companies like Siemens, Credit Suisse and Barclays give PPOs after successful internships.

Our College has a Placement Cell. Companies do come for placements in our college in 4th year starting. We also get formal interview and aptitude training from senior students and placement cell. Companies like Siemens, Credit Suisse and Barclays give PPOs after successful internships.
College Events
We have various Technical and Social Events conducted in our college. IEEE, IETE, ITSA and CSI conduct technical, debate and other hackathon competitions. We have SPACE and UDAAN cultural fests which have many awesome competitions.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was 1,07,000 at our time. It must have increased a bit now. But this fee structure is feasible. College has scholarships for caste reserved students. Hostel fees must be Rs 50,000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Narattom and Tata scholarships are good. We have to submit applications fir them through college. Caste Reservation scholarship we have. We can also get scholarships from other social groups. One can opt for educational loans also.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities have a great range in our college. Sports like Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Throw ball are very famous. We also have debate, project and technical Competitions. Robotic Competitions of IIT Bombay and MIT Pune are famous.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel infrastructure is bit okay. SPIT don't have its own hostel. SPCE's hostel is good. Students from far places can opt for it. SPIT students have to look for private hostels or rooms. SPJIMR mess and Bhavan's mess food is good.
Alumni/Alumna
The Alumni network is very helpful during placements. They help us to get prepared for Aptitude tests, Interview process. They also help us for further studies, solving doubts. I found the Alumni network for me.
Exam Structure
Exam structure includes term tests (twice every semester). Then we have Semester wise exams. Sometimes we also have quizzes. Practical and Viva exams are conducted before every Semester exams. For first and last year we had University exams and for second and third year we had College exams.
Admission
I had given MHTCET entrance exam. I got 135 marks in it. Because of OBC category and ladies quota i got admission into this college. There is also In-house Admission Forms available before the Cap process They consider 10th, 12th and also JEE exam marks for it.
Faculty
The Faculty is very helpful in Projects. Even in classes they give us real life examples and teach. They are open to doubts and are very encouraging. They let us participate in various inter- college technical Competitions also.
