Average level college

The area Berhampur has some communication issues, you can only get connected with Kolkata. College is also too small in size. Labs can be better. The money, which is coming from the government, is not utilised perfectly. Other things are good here.

The course is good. Syllabus is created by West Bengal University of technology. The teachers may be not that good. But they are helpful. The environment is also good. You can do study down, and gain new knowledge. being a government college, the fees are also low.

The college don't have any Training and placement cell. So it does not offer jobs and internship. Although, faculties help students to get jobs and also recommend intership. By the end of the year, Training and placement cell should work in a active way. So by the time, new students get admitted, they will get help from Training and placement cell.

Student Freshers, saraswati puja, independent day, Techno cultural fest, republic day, teachers day, students day, blood donation camp, film festival, students farewell, annual sports, annual prize distribution and many more

The fees are feasible. Being a government college, the college is funded by the West Bengal government. So students have to pay less. Just some amount of semester fees and little bit of tuition fees. Nothing else

West Bengal government gives a good amount of scholarship to the engineering students. The college faculties also help to find some private scholarships. Shami vivekananda scholarship, siemens scholarships are one of them

The labs the decent. Not too good. But works well. Every lab was it's own inverter, with air conditioners. The labs have all modern facilities. College organize many yearly, half-yearly and quarterly sport events. College has its own rock band, named Antaheen. That's it.

The hostel is free. Again because it is sponsored by West Bengal government. You just have to pay a one time diposit. After your pass out, your get your fees back. If you break something, then it is charged separately

The network is not that good. But it's quite good. It's actually changes depends upon the year. College tries it's best to establish a good network. On every 8 years, college organize it's biggest reunion, which unites people from different year. Being a old college, many people come and join and build the community

Give the WBJEE exam, hold a good rank, atleast 8000. Then the west bengal joint entrance exam board will open the counciling process. The whole job is done in online mediam. Do the counciling. Choose the college and the Stream. If you are lucky enough, you can be here.

They are good. Not as expected. But helpful. Some of them have good knowledge, some of them don't have. So don't subject should be done by yourself. Facultys are encouraging. Gives you many new platform. Overall the system is good.
