Remarks

Positive and negatives are what we take in with us.There are many things which ll spoil you and there are many which ll teach you.In a college like this you ll learn what a social life is.You ll get influenced by parties and lot more. The way you choose it,the way you ll become.Faculties and Campus are its best.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I always loved science and it was the reason i gave chemistry as the option. As always science is interesting so do my studies. We are under Calicut University,Kerala. We have exam as usual.Good standard examinations with lots of options in it.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements and Job opportunities are quite less compared to the private colleges. But there are internships which recruit students to different jobs.M.Sc students are given more preference on Job opportunities.

College Events

4

There are many programs in the college.Starting with Freshers day,Onam celebration, Union day, Christmas Celebration,Merit day,Fair well and lot more.Government colleges like this have more events than college days

Fee Structure And Facilities

Students in the merit list doesn't have to pay any money. They are free to study till the end of their graduation.Expect them all the other who joint the college via Different Quota have to spend little amount which is affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are lots and lots of scholarship awarded in government colleges. One of the main scholarships are EGrande which is awarded nearly to all the students. They have scholarship exams yearly for good students. Scheduled caste students also have their own scholarships

Campus Life

4

Extracurricular activities are at its next level.Culturals as well as sports are given equal importance.Culturals like Kolkali,Nadanpattu,Bharathanatyam,Kerala nadanam,Mime etc . Sports-Volleyball Basketball Cricket Football Kabbadi etc.College provide labs for Physics Chemistry Botany Zoology and Computer. They are good but the things are limited.

Hostel Facilities

4

I'm a day scholar but still aware of the hostel facilities.College have hostel only for womens.Womens hostel is good but not luxurious.Adjustable and healthy one.Day scholars are more, So there's no need of any mens hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

They all are the best motivators around. Most of the seniors are working in defense fields as our college provided NCC via recruits. Many of them joined engineering. They visit at times when they are free.College is a big circle full of defense aspirants.

Admission

I got admission via my sports quota. As i represented the State and National meets.Igot my names in my first allotment.I was put into an Interview with the Physical education department. And hence i was selected.

Faculty

5

Being in a government college in kerala is a blessing.Lecturers are like friends and they are the one who support us to do things in time.Faculties are the best.Even the guest lecturers were well educated and experienced.Permanent faculties were full of doctorates in their stream. They also helped us after the college hours.

Little Flower Institute of Social Sciences and Health - [LISSAH], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Psychology)
Reviewed on Nov 18, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Frequency of exams are troublesome during the last time of year because all the programmes like youth festival annual day etc come together

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
