Remarks

Rather than positive remarks, I would give more negative remarks about this college. It could satisfy it's students neither through placement nor through any personality development. Some of the heads of some departments are so ignorant towards student's problems.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

Since my college was an engineering institute, it had six branches/ departments of engineering. They are civil, electronics, food, computer science, information technology and design. The college provides a B.Tech degree in each of the branches mentioned.

Placement Experience

0.5

The placements and job opportunities my college provides was totally nil. The training and placement cell never worked for the benefits of students. Till my time, there was not even a single campus placement in the institute as per my knowledge, neither did any company visited the institute for same.

College Events

2

The events mainly celebrated by the institute were it's technical festival and the cultural festival. The tech fest was called the TECHRACY and the cultural fest was called the ECSTASY. Apart from these, the institute also celebrated Independence Day, Republic Day, Saraswati puja, Viswakarma Puja, freshman socials, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Till my time, the fee structure was feasible or affordable. But from the academic session 2019-2020, the fee is hiked upto a huge amount. Before, we just paid around 60,000 for two semesters in a year. But now, a student has to pay around 1.5 lak for two semesters in an academic year.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, the college didn't provide any scholarship or loan facility to any of it's students yet. The only scholarship it provides is the one that the government is providing for students from marginalized castes.

Campus Life

3.5

The college provides an adequate amount of accessories for sports. But the gym facility it provides is very poor. Also some of the department labs are not at all adequate for an engineering institute.

Alumni/Alumna

We never had any alumni connection. Yes of course, we knew and we're in touch with some of the students who were 2 years or 1 year senior to us, just because we saw them every day in the campus. But that's it. Nothing more than that.

Admission

Admission in this college is done through two modes. One is through JEE MAINS and other is through its own entrance exam. Seats in every branch is filled up with 40/60 weightage, where 40 percent seats are filled up from JEE MAINS and 60 percent through its own entrance exam.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of my college, I would say, was neither too good nor too bad. Though most of the faculty were pass outs from reputed engineering institutes like IIT and NITs, but they were not able to deliver lectures on certain topics at the perfection level.

The college placement aren't much in our college because our college is too deep inside the area it's like a village area companies find it difficult to come here. Companies mostly come for chemical and mechanical engineering students to hire them. For electrical and civil you have to apply off campus. I don't know the highest package from our college but the recent package that was offered by mahindra to mechanical engineering students was 19000 per month. Atleast 35% students get on campus placement. My plan after degree is to pursue mtech or maybe BFA in Seoul, South Korea or maybe find a job outside india

The placement of this university is not upto the mark. The highest package recieved by a student was 37 LPA. He was an ECE student. The average LPA is around 6-7 LPA. I think it's a bit low compared to NITs/IITs. But compared to other central and state universities its quite good.

The curriculum is btech and since it is an IIT the faculty are the best in their fields profs here have done PhD from Stanfords of the world and the prof-student ratio is very healthy. Although there are a lot of exams in the ballpark weekly one or the other exam will be there and the exams are very tough but grading is relative.
