An Engineer's destiny

Nice college but many upgradations are still needed to make the campus and also the college neat and suitable environment. An Engineering college should be serving as a good environment for the students to study well.

Course curriculum is average similar to the other colleges and the same teaching style. The exam is conducted twice in a semester. Mid semester and end semester. The students are required to learn what is being taught in class and the same is asked in the paper.

Placement just good enough. As being a national college Placement is good enough for everyone. Yes, the college provides internship as well companies visit the campus frequently the third year students are allowed to give applications for the intern however IV year students are busy in the recruitments.

A lot of events happened frequently. There are many fests organised, such as literature fest, cultural fest, technical fest, sports meet etc. Each and every student is indulged in every activity that allows him to to explore himself in the college.

Speaking about the fee structure. The fees is hiked every year dramatically. Since being a government college the fees is not appropriate as the government is funding the college to increase teaching culture but still the free is continuously increased.

The college provides many facilities for the students whose financial income is low. The SBI branch of our college provides with a student loan of 8.5% PA. Also the meritorious students are awarded with various scholarships.

Talking about the extra curricular activities they are just fine as since many equipments in the lab are very old and just usable. Some of the apparatus needed are not available, as since the instruments are very damaged.

Many seniors are helpful to the juniors and the college has a anti ragging campus. Strict actions are taken for those found indulged in bad activities. The seniors many time guide the juniors and expose them to the college world.

An engineering exam called JEE mains. The exam is conducted just after 12th. Students of science stream allowed to take the paper and the students who secure a fix amount of marks gets selected. Each year around 12 lakh students compete. From which only few are selected.

The faculty just fine. Some teachers are very good in teaching as well as helpful. However some are just government employees. they do the job of teaching for fix amount of hours and just leave the class after taking attendance. Many teachers are well qualified and interactive they make studying very simple.
