- there is no restriction on roaming in campus at night for boys
- teachers here are good and the greenery is the thing which makes dtu beautiful
- all facilities are provided by the college inside the campus
Dislikes
- location of college is very far from the main city of delhi
- boys to girls ratio is really bad here its like 10:1
- crowd isn't good here because of which college has put lot of restrictions for fests.
Course Curriculum Overview
as coding was going i thought this will be the future which made me take IT. it makes us do real life programms which help in our brain development. they could have kept specific course branchwise from the first semester only which would have helped us in getting into coding world faster
Internships Opportunities
here internship opportunities arent much because of which we have to find internship by ourselfs few companies which give internships for tech branch are zomato google microsoft the max which was given was 2lakh.
Placement Experience
placements are not that good compared to what it used to be in last few years. companies such as google microsoft apple zomato etc come here to recruit students with good packages. highest this year was 81 lakh and avg was 16 lakh for IT and around 18lakh for SE.
Fees and Financial Aid
i am paying 220000 in first year and there will be increase in fees by 20k every year. tuition fees is around 1.6lakh and other all is like 0.6lakh which total up to 2.2 lakh. my other friends have half the fees of mine. there are scholarships given by bajaj and etc once for students which is around 7k per mon.
Campus Life
campus life here is great compared to other colleges its very chilled with very less academic pressure . fests here like engifest are really famous. colleges gives projectors, ac, power socket in class rooms, dtu has cricket football basketball etc sports facilities.
Admission
i choose this college over other colleges because this college had the best fests of delhi and the exams were also not tht hard which helped me to focus on my hobbies. compared to nsut nsut got good research labs set up by iiit delhi. i didnt want to go to nsut before i joined dtu but now i think i should have gone to nsut
Faculty
faculty to student ratio is enough. teachers here are very helpful they help whenever we have doubt. mnc faculty is good. exams are medium. very few fail to clear the exam. first year course is not relevant but after that its relivent to the branch.marking scheme is like 25 for internals 25 for mid sem and 50 for end sem
Night Life
nightlife here is like the best thing one can have in dtu compared to other colleges. we have nightcanteens and wending machines which helps us to keep awake at night. library are open 24/7 during exam times. hostel does not have any timing but for campus its 11pm. oat is the best p[lace to hangout with people
