Great college

Overall comment : Great college. Faculty and labs are great. Canteen, hostel and other facilities are up to mark. Provide most graduates with placements. Infrastructure of the college is also good. College also provide lot of freedom to the students.

The course curriculum is great as the course includes 8 semesters within 4 years. The university conducts exam to the end of every semester and internal marks depend on the mark scored in the series exams conducted in the semester, assignment and also for attendance.

The college provide a lot of placements and job opportunities. FISAT is famous for its high placement rates for B.Tech students. College also has an incubation centre for the students to begin a startup. FISAT provides a lot of job opportunities also. The college doesn't provide internships but the students can participate in the internships externally. The stapent depends on various internships.

The college celebrates Onam as it's a regional festival across kerala. It also hosts a lot of tech fests and art fests. Inter college competitions as well as intra college competitions. Bharatham is a well know inter college art fest hosted by FISAT.

As the college is a privately operated, the fee structure is expensive compared to government operated colleges. But is less expensive when compared to other private colleges. But can be afforded by a rconomically middle class students.

The college offers a lot of scholarships for economically backward students in core departmentd as well as in other departments. The college also provide loan facilities for students. The college also offers scholarship for academically weak students also.

College supports a lot of extracurriculars like sports and arts. The college also offers great lab facilities. The college also has mobile fab lab facility. The technical staff is also good. The college encourage students is sports as it is needed for healthy mind and body.

I am not yet graduated but the senior students provide us advices and tips and encourage the students to take part in many activities including extracarriculars. They also provide information about tech fest and workshops.

I joined the college in the NRI Quota. The admission cell was very cooperative. Explained all procedures carefully. Gave a tour of the college. In short they were very helpful and the admission cell of the college is cooperative.

Faculty of FISAT is excellent. The teaching faculty is qualified as well as having a lot of experience in teaching. The lectures are great and they also provide additional information and also provide doubt clearance sections instantly. The college faculty is dedicated as well as provide care for the students.
