Remarks

Positives Good management Supportive staffs Knowledgefull teachers Great infrastructure Advanced labs and facilities Extracurricular activities Scholarships Compulsory attendance Negatives Lack of proper hostel facilities Few inexperienced teachers Low number of good placements

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I completed my course under Bangalore university and the exams were semesterwise. The exams were 3 hour sessions in most of the cases and were mainly theory. Seperate practical exams were conducted before or after the theory exams for practical oriented subjects. Non compulsory Subjects like EVS had MCQ exams of two hours.

Placement Experience

2.5

Placements and opportunities are not that extraordinary. Few companies which are regularly absorbing candidates from this particular college will come and absorb a few. That's all. Other than that I don't see any great outcome from my College's end regarding the placements.

College Events

4

Department fest's of various kinds, Cultural fest (eg: Nrityanjali), spots fest, Intra and inter collegiate management and computer science fests. Other than that events like ethnic day, spiritual days etc are also conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is descent when compared to all other colleges of this standard. The quality of services provided is really worth for the money you spend as fee. The facilities, the faculties, Infrastructure, teaching quality etc are worth for every penny.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers lot of scholarship facilities. This include both national and international. Students with great academic record and extracurricular interests will be granted various types of scholarships. Eventhough I haven't got any I have seen my friends getting scholarships. Talking about loans I am not pretty sure about that, how and when that happens.

Campus Life

4.5

The infrastructure of the college is marvelous. I accommodates the best in class labs, gym, indoor and outdoor play area and a great cafeteria and canteen. The sports facilities are really good and it is open to everyone. The lab facilities, especially the computer and electronics labs are awesome.

Hostel Facilities

3

Eventhough the college don't own or operate any hostels, there are few hostels which are operating under the indirect control of the college itself. The women's hostels working under the management is safe and secure for ladies whareas the boys hostel may not be. Lot of private hostels and homestays are available at a walkable distance from the college.

Alumni/Alumna

Eventhough the college conducts alumni meet-up every year, the participation is limited. Their efforts to conduct this event every year is really appreciable. The senior students at my time were not so cooperative and helpful and I really wish this has changed during the course of years.

Admission

I got the aadnission form from the office reception and filled it and submitted it there itself after a few days.I got a call from the college saying me to attend the first round of interview on a specified date with all the previous educational credentials.I appeared for the interview on the assigned date and submitted attested copies of my credentials. After few weeks the list of selected students were listed on the notice board and also I got a call from the college office. Then I went there and took the admission submitting all the original documents for verification.

Faculty

3

Faculty are well qualified and experienced. Still there are a few new commers who obviously will be lacking that charm. Those people teaching core subjects will always be a nightmare. Unfortunately we also had a few like that.

Jobs in campus placements are constrained, with only the final semester being eleigible. Few firms visit, with moderate packages. Companies like cognizant, deloitte, infosys, tcs and others do visit our college for hiring. i will be pursuing my higher educarion rather than getting a job with moderate salary

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester onwards. The college invites companies from IT services, startups, and core technology domains. Some of the companies that usually visit include mid-level software firms and service-based companies, offering roles such as software developer, data analyst, and testing engineer. The highest package offered recently was around 10 LPA and the average package is about 6LPA. Nearly 60–70% of students get placed every year. After completing my degree, I plan to secure a job in the IT or AI field and later pursue higher studies.

Students will be eligible for internships from the fourth sem of their course. There are many big companies who have visited the campus and made really good offers but if you want a good package the level of difficulty to get into this will also be high. The average package for BCA is 3,00,000 per annum. As per University information their placement rate is 91 percent. After getting the degree I'll be looking for a good company to work for and gain my knowledge.
