Remarks :

The college has better ground facilities which are the positive factors negative factors about the colleges are will not allow to to go out of the campus while the classes are conducted which affects the day scholars in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are two internal exams in each and every semester named as series exam 1 and series exam 2. There are total 8 semesters in mechanical engineering course. The end semester exams are conducted by the KTU.

Placement Experience :

Yes, the college provides internships and placements. They guide more to the IT companies than other companies. They helped us guide to a good company for internships. They are very helpful for placments.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees are a bit expensive for those who come from NRI seats and other seats than merit. For merit students it is seventy five thousand per year and other varies depending on the income of the family.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They have many scholarship for the minority community in the nation. For Muslim students there is a fees reduction upto twenty five thousand in each and every academic year for those having low family annual income.

Campus Life :

There are many extra curricular activities such as football team, cricket team, basketball team, volleyball team, fabrication lab, NSS. They all conduct regular meeting in every week. NSS team had helped the flood relief campaigns in Kerala for two years.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel has good infrastructure and other faculties like proper electricity and bathroom facilities they have a good Warden and good mess for food. The fees are are affordable and better for any family background.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes ,they where very helpful when there was need.They organizes an alumini meeting in every year and they helps in social life and they have good connection with the current students. They helped the current year students for internships and other placement programs. The conducted seminars on different topics on post graduation choices in differed part of the world.

Admission :

Entrance merit in KEAM 2016 in which there where physics, chemistry and maths questions. After the KEAM results three was a single window application for colleges and courses through which I got admission in FISAT.

Faculty :

In mechanical engineering the faculties are very friendly and hard working. They teach us more practical classes than theory classes so we could understand easily. They help us in the final year projects.

Placement Experience:

Students can avail placenta from the 7th semester where a lot of companies are available. I don't know about the highest package but all of them are pretty decent. Most of the packages are IT and sales.

Actually placement cell is a bit week the company's is not that reputed and they offer monthly salary of 12k to 15k. Probably some startup companies. And many students choose that and work for 1 or 2 years to gain experience and then they apply for better opportunities.

SEEING STCET THROUGH MY VISION

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards we could attend placement interviews and many companies used to approach our college but mostly IT companies as I was in civil dept the construction companies were very less or NIL. In our batch, most of the students got placed and many offer letters but the only disadvantage was the offers were not from the core companies.
