The course structure is great. We have so many labs and all the equipment required for any experiment. We have surprise tests, tutorial tests, assegnments, lab tests, lab viva, mid-sem and comprehensive exams. The weightage depends on the course instructor.

We have two internships in the whole program. One after the sophomore year and the other in final year. The college provides you with a list of companies and you have to Arrange them in your preference order and the college assigns you an internship based on your merit.

There are 3 main events held annually which attract participants form around the country. ATMOS - The colleges techincal fest Pearl - The college's cultural fest Arena - The college's sports fest. All three events attract thousands of people and loads of sponsors.

Fees can be expensive as its a private institution. Expect to pay around INR 2 lakhs per semester. This includes 1,65,000 for the Tution and the rest is living expenses, hostel, mess, internet, student union fee etc.

Two types of scholarships are given, Merit and Merit cum need. The criteria for both varies per year but generally a very high CGPA is required for merit scholarship. The institute students are eligible fot Scholar Loans from SBI at very low special interest.

Extracurriculars : College has an amazing Club and Department culture. Members of clubs participate in various club activities and have fun. The college has no dearth of sports facilities. These include Table Tennis, Tennis, Badminton, Squash, Volleyball, Cricket, Pool, Chess and many many more.

The alumi network of BITS makes it special. Alumni are very helpful, from advice to job referrals. Seniors are likewise helpful and approachable. There is no ragging in campus, and seniors help you a lot, from academics to everything.

I applied for bitsat exam and wrote the exam. After that i sent an application to the college and they accepted it. It was an easy test. It's for 450 marks.Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani a leading Institute of Higher Education and a deemed University under section 3 of the UGC act offering degree programmes in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Pharmacy, Management and Humanities.

The faculty is very experienced. They all have done their Phd in prestigious institutes. They have many publications and they are pretty good at teaching. They help a lot in projects and are always free to talk.
