The college in the whole is a great experience for a student. It make a student independent and ready to face the challenges of the world. The education system is well structured and helps every student.

The course touches on all the aspects that is needed for industry purposes completely. There are two CIAs and one end semester exam. Each CIA is of 20 marks each. The first one is written while the second one is either objective type questions, projects or presentations. The end semester exam is of 60 marks. The student needs to get a combined of 40 marks to pass the subject in a particular semester.

The college has a Placement Cell where a student has to register. Companies come to college and conduct interviews. College does not provide internship. Depending on the course the package given by the companies vary.

Each department of the college has their own events organised. The college is famous for Malhar which is an intercollegiate festival which boasts of a student workforce of more than 2000 students. Other festivals include Ithika, Econdrum, Terra etc.

The junior college is funded partly by the government. The fees are very reasonable with fees for MSc 1 year upto 25000. The college comes under the government hence fees are subsidised. For the facilities the college provides, the fees are very reasonable.

The college has very scholarships for students. Some include most deserving student, best student, student with the highest marks in a year. These scholarships help students to continue scale heights in their studies.

The the graduation part, there is a compulsory 60 hours every student has to put in for Extra Curricular Activities, these include taking part in college fests. Each science department have their own labs that are well equipped and huge. The college is famous for its sports and house a Gymkhana with facilities for many indoor sports.

The college has a Alumni website and have many events for its Alumni. Many alumnus come to the department to encourage the current batch of students or share their experiences in the industry. There is lot of interaction at events organised by the college.

The college has an online admission process. Admission forms are available online on the college website. One needs to fill the form and submit it. The college let’s the applicant know when he has to come to college with a print of the online admission form and hard copy of all documents for verification. Once verified the applicant has to pay their fees by cheque or Demand Draft.

The faculty of the college are experts in their respective fields with most having a doctorate degree. They are always helpful and ready to clear any doubts whenever asked. They make sure that their teaching reaches every student even if some student is a bit slow.
