Remarks

There is nothing negative to comment on one of the top-rated colleges of India. Whether it be teachers, environment, library, gym, NCC, NSS, laboratories (computer labs, chemistry labs, physics lab etc.), First-Aid facilities; all are good and upto the mark. I would recommend everyone to visit the college for once

Course Curriculum Overview

5

The course curriculum involves mathematics from elementary to the one which needs high thinking. It is balance of MCQ, true/false, proofs. On an all, theoretical mathematics has found a way with its application. Fee Structure of my course at KMC is affordable. It varies from 10,000/- to 15,000/- annually. Right now, my fee is 12,590/- for the final year.

Placement Experience

4.5

We have got a placement cell which works in order to provide placement and job opportunities. Yes, my college provides internship but only when they feel so. I personally have not been a part of any project so far.

College Events

4.5

The college celebrates Freshers, Graduation night, Fest(of 2-3 days), Diwali Mela annually. Other events include Dept. Freshers, Farewells and fests. Moreover, innovative talks by experts are held time to time. One such includes a talk by actor "Satish Kaushik" held by the Dramatic Society.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's very nominal and can be given by any student. We are one of the college's which have got the minimum fee structure in DU ranging from 100- 25,000/- annually. Each facility whether it be sports, dance, music, first-aid etc. is available.

Fees and Financial Aid

It offers fee-concession for needy students through which students can get a maximum of the total amount refunded. The eligibility criteria includes "annual income" of family and caste certificate if applicable.

Campus Life

4.5

Extra curricular activities are good and considered to be one of the best in DU whether be Sansation-Dance Society, Montage-Film Society, Dramatic Society, FAPS-Fine Arts and Photography Society, North East cell. It also consists of societies which come under departments. Labs here, have got A grade facilities.

Alumni/Alumna

The college has got its link with alumni whether it be Amitabh Bachchan, Satish Kaushik, Sargun Mehta, IAS, other govt. officers etc. Alumni can visit to the college whenever they wish. Moreover, alumni-meet is held time to time like on the day of "Foundation Day".

Admission

DU released cut offs. I got admission through my best four in (chem, maths, Eng and Music) subjects where a language and Mathematics were compulsory to be considered. I entered the college with college form and submitted all the required documents like 10th, 12th marksheet there. Within one day, my admission was approved.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty involves mathematicians who are highly acclaimed through out the world, like Major Dr. S.K. Kaushik. One other is considered to be God of Topology in the entire DU and he is none other than our Dr. Satya Prakash Tripathi. Other senior teachers like Dr. Pawan Bala Aggarwal, Dr. Dinesh Khattar, Dr. Pratibha Kumar etc. have also contributed in achieving many young students "PhD scholars". The faculty also includes other non-permanent members including Dr. S.K. Sharma, Dr. Meenu Rathore, Dr. Kavita Gupta etc. Our HOD(Head of Dept.) Dr. Raj Kumar is PhD in "Frames-Analysis". He is also serving the purpose of staff-advisor with Dr. Kavita Gupta.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
