Remarks

The 160 hectares of irrigated land is a perfect simulation for experimenting and researching the techniques for enhancing the field and horticultural crop quality. I did my post-graduation in Post Harvest Technology from the Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR), which is a sister concern of the IARI. It is the best research institute for agricultural research.

Placement Experience:

Actually individual department will be in contact with one or the other company for the conduct of research work. So by one or the other way we can easily get in to the company if the college is not bringing campuses for students.

Remarks:

I am pursuing my doctorate from the IIHR. I wanted to join after my masters, and eventually got into the Horticultural department. I have to admit it wasn’t my first choice, but I am appreciating and enjoying all the research work we are doing here. The faculty and amenities provided are good.
