Choosing between DTU’s BBA and an SSC level government job really depends on what you want from your career. I’m leaning towards the BBA because of the diverse opportunities it offers. With the internship being compulsory in the 5th semester, I feel prepared to enter the corporate world. Companies like Bajaj and ZS Associates come to recruit us, and the highest package is a whopping 13.5 LPA! I’ve heard government jobs can be stable, but the excitement of working in business and the chance to attend events like Engifest makes my college experience so much better. The fees are a bit high, but the exposure and learning at DTU are worth it!

I’m in my final year of BBA at DTU, and I can confidently say that this path is way more rewarding than an SSC level government job. The college has a solid placement record, with about 30-35% of us getting placed through the college placement cell. While I know government jobs have their perks, the starting salaries are often lower. Here, you can earn an average of 6 LPA, and some of my friends have secured internships with stipends of around 10,000 per month. Plus, I love the dynamic environment of college life, especially during fests. All in all, the growth potential in the corporate sector feels more appealing for me than settling for a government job.

Honestly, I think pursuing BBA at DTU is a much better option than going for a SSC level government job. I chose BBA because I have always been fascinated by businesses and want to dive deeper into that world. The faculty here is mostly qualified, with many having PhDs, which is a plus. Sure, some teachers just want to finish the syllabus, but I’ve learned a lot from the good ones. Plus, the internship opportunities are decent, with companies like PWC and Deloitte recruiting us. The highest package was 13.5 LPA, which is quite impressive compared to the starting salary of a government job. Also, the campus life at DTU is amazing, especially with the annual fest, Engifest. I can't see a government job offering that kind of experience!
