How ETS completed TOEFL iBT in 2 Hours
TOEFL iBT considers your experience and feedback in the same high regard as providing the utmost quality, security, fairness, and reliability in the assessment. TOEFL iBT New pattern is the only test that measures all 4 academic English skills the way they are actually used in an academic setting. The TOEFL iBT can be completed in 2 hours due to:
- Streamlined instructions and navigation throughout the test - This helps to reduce the time taken by students to understand what to do next. The instructions are much more user friendly.
- Removal of all unscored test questions - The removal of unscored questions has led to shorter time. The time taken for the unscored questions has been cut from the actual test time.
- New Writing Task - The new, more modern TOEFL iBT writing task replaces the independent writing (essay) task which was a discussion forum contribution task. This has reduced the time taken for the writing task.
- Less Reading passage in the Reading section - The enhanced TOEFL reading now includes two reading passages instead of three previously. Each of these passages are approximately 700 words long, with 10 questions per passage.
ETS suggests creating an account even though you have not yet decided to take the test yet. ETS provides a TOEFL Search Service which is free to match you with universities based on your profile. You can receive notifications about programs, financial aid, fellowships, and other educational opportunities from the universities.
