Candidates, with the approval of the ETS, may be allowed testing accommodations if they provide the documents supporting the disability. The following are the accommodations provided to candidates with disabilities:

TOEFL Test Day Instructions
The following instructions can be followed by the candidates for their TOEFL test dates:
- Candidates should reach the TOEFL test centre at least 30 minutes before the exam starts.
- Candidates should carry their acceptable identification documents for verification by the Test Centre Administrator.This accpetable ID for Indian students can only be a valid and current passport.
- Candidates are required to store all personal belongings outside the exam hall.
- The photo and voice recording sample might be taken.

Rescheduling and Cancelling the TOEFL exam
There is a 4-day deadline for TOEFL exam cancellation or rescheduling.
- A 50% refund of the registration fee will be issued if the exam is canceled at least 4 days before the test date.
- Rescheduling can be allowed only if it is requested at least 4 days before the test date, and for a fee of INR 5,900; otherwise, the candidate has to cancel the exam and book another test.
However, if ETS cancels or reschedules the exam, the fees that the candidate paid will be transferred to a new test date, or upon request, a full refund will be issued.
