MDI Gurgaon MBA Admission through CAT 2023: Check Cut off, Selection Criteria and Fees

Management Development Institute, MDI Gurgaon selects candidates based on CAT scores. To apply for the admission process of MDI Gurgaon, first of all, candidates will have to appear for CAT 2023. After that when the result will be declared then MDI will release the online application forms for the admission process. Based on past trends, MDI Gurgaon CAT Cut Off for Admission 2024 is to remain between 93-95 percentile. 

MDI Gurgaon offers management-level programs like PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB, PGDM NMP, and PGDM EMP. Once the application form has been filled candidates will have to appear for PI or GD/WAT. MDI Gurgaon Admission Process

Candidates can fill MDI Application Form at the official website of MDI. Given below are the steps to fill Application Form:

1. Visit the official website of MDI
2. Click on ‘Online Application’
3. Register yourself using your username, password, and email ID
4. Log in to fill Application Form
5. Fill in your personal and academic details
6. Make a payment of the application fee
7. Print the confirmation page for future purposes received on registered email ID.

MDI Application Fee

• The final submission of the application form will be done only after the application fee payment and receiving the application form by the conducting authority.
• The application fee for all categories is INR 3000.
• Candidates can make the application fee payment using Internet Banking, Credit Card, and Debit Card.

CAT MDI Gurgaon Selection Procedure

The final selection process or the weightage of various factors considered to offer admission are mentioned below: 

• Stage 1 – First of all candidates will be shortlisted based on CAT 2023 percentiles. The minimum CAT percentile requirement is decided based on the number of candidates to be shortlisted.
• Stage 2 – The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for:
  • Written Analysis Test (WAT)
  • Group Discussion (GD)
  • Personal Interview (PI)

*WAT and GD might not be conducted.

Given below is the course-wise selection criteria that MDI will follow:

PGDM/PGDM-HRM/PGDM-IB

• Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their percentile in CAT Exam.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group discussion, written analysis test, and personal interview.
• The selection rounds will be held during February and March at one of the centers, viz. Bangalore, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai (centers other than Gurgaon are tentative).

PGDM NMP / PGP–EM

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their CAT, GMAT, or MDI Test Scores.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for a round of Personal Interview.
• Candidates who manage to clear the interview round will be called for CAT Counselling.

PT – PGPM

• Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of a written test conducted at MDI Campus.
• The shortlisted candidates will be called for a round of Personal Interview.
