To honor and express gratitude to the dedicated educators and Nation Builders, K. L. Mehta Dayanand College for Women, Faridabad celebrated Teachers' Day on Sept 5, 2023 with great fervor and enthusiasm. The Program started with lamp lighting and chanting of Gayatri Mantra. Principal Dr. Manju Dua welcomed Sh. Anand Mehta, President, MDES with a token of gratitude. On this occasion, Sh. Anand Mehta appreciated the efforts of teachers of the institution and emphasized on a good quality education imbibing the social, cultural and moral values which can only be imparted through the teachers. Principal Dr Manju Dua expressed her views on significance and role of teachers in life. She further emphasized on the importance of Education enduring a bond between students and teachers. Various Departments viz. The Department of Humanities, Department of Bioscience and Catalyst and Mathskeeters Club celebrated the day by organizing various competitions like Declamation, Slogan Writing, Poem Recitation, Play and Dance Performances. Students expressed their deep gratitude for their teachers by presenting and recitating a series of Poignant and heartfelt poems. The program concluded with the National Anthem.

The Department of Home Science at K L Mehta Dayanand College for Women in Faridabad embraced the spirit of tradition and elegance as they celebrated the 'Teej Utsav' on August 18, 2023. The event exuded a captivating blend of cultural vibrancy. Ms. Shubh Mehta, the Director of Self Finance at MDES, graced the occasion as the chief guest and was warmly welcomed with green accents by Principal Dr. Manju Dua and Ms. Archana Dua, the Head of the Department of Home Science.

The festivities commenced with the resonant recitation of the Gayatri mantra, followed by the ceremonial lighting of lamps. Ms. Shubh Mehta uplifted the students by shedding light on the significance of celebrating culture-oriented festivals and their profound meanings. Dr. Manju Dua, the Principal, addressed the audience, underscoring the traditional and cultural importance of the Teej festival. Ms. Archana Dua's impactful speech stirred the students, urging them to wholeheartedly revel in festivals that elevate the pride of a glorious nation and its rich heritage.

The students held the audience in rapture with captivating performances, including captivating group dances and a mesmerizing fashion show. The highlight of the event was the Fashion Show, orchestrated by Ms. Priyanka Adhana, where Fashion Designing students showcased their talents by presenting their self-crafted attire. The esteemed panel of judges for the Fashion Show included Dr. Sheel Singh, Ms. Usha Pant, and Dr. Shveta Arya. The Fashion Show unfolded in two riveting rounds: the "Cocktail Dresses" round, where Shalu clinched the first prize, Khushi secured the second prize, and Neha Jha bagged the third prize; and the "Fusion Dresses" round, where Bharti secured the first prize, Priyanshu claimed the second prize, and Shireen earned the third prize.

Under the guidance of Ms. Pooja Gaba, an ECCE (Early Childhood Care and Education) exhibition was executed with great success. The collective efforts of Coconvenors Ms. Usha Pant, Dr. Sangeeta Kulshreshtha, and other faculty members, including Ms. Benu Mehta and Ms. Jyoti, played a pivotal role in ensuring the event's success. The entire campus radiated a festive ambiance with vibrant and colorful decorations, adding a touch of splendor to the occasion. A variety of stalls exhibiting bangles, jewelry, cosmetics, rakhi (decorative thread for festivals), homemade chocolates, and more enriched the festive fervor. Students reveled in the joy of swings, while the delectable food stalls tantalized their taste buds. Group dance competitions were evaluated by judges Dr. Madhu Singh and Dr. Rajesh Khatri. The RimJhim group, comprising Versha Arya, Sheetal, Pratiksha, Kashish, Diksha, and Yashika, secured the first prize in the group dance competition, while the Kangana group, including Bhawna, Tanishka, Anjali, Bhawna, Khushi, and Sneha, achieved the second prize. The event was seamlessly orchestrated by Ms. Priyanka Panwar as the efficient host.

The culmination of the program was marked by the distribution of prizes and certificates, bringing a gratifying closure to the eventful celebration.

The event commenced with the esteemed presence of Sh. Anand Mehta, President of MDES, Faridabad, who inaugurated the proceedings by ceremoniously lighting the sacred lamp while the reverberating chants of the Gayatri Mantra filled the air. This was followed by a harmonious welcome song that marked the beginning of the celebration. Sh. Anand Mehta, in his role as the President of MDES, warmly addressed the gathering and extended his heartfelt welcome to the budding intellects, urging them to embark on a journey into the unexplored realm of knowledge. He underscored the significance of honing extracurricular talents and encouraged the students to actively partake in the array of competitions and programs lined up throughout the academic session. Dr. Manju Dua, the Principal, graced the occasion with a warm and gracious welcome address, extending her best wishes for the students' promising futures. The event encapsulated the essence of the occasion with the phrase, "A hundred new faces, yet a million dreams."

Steering the event with finesse, Dr. Sheel served as the eloquent host, engaging the audience and maintaining their rapt attention with her captivating discourse. The event unfolded into a series of splendid performances, including a captivating ramp walk, breathtaking vocal and dance renditions, and a thought-provoking 'Nukkad Natak' (street play) that introduced students to the various cells and clubs within the institution. The stage brimmed with excitement as these remarkable presentations illuminated the atmosphere.

A distinguished panel of judges, comprised of Ms. Sudha Sahi, Ms. Alka Satya, and Ms. Usha Pant, adjudicated the ramp walk competition. Amidst an enraptured audience and amidst the glimmer of lights, Ms. Shubh Mehta, Director of Self-Finance, took the stage to confer titles and prizes upon the victorious participants. She lauded the students for their dedicated efforts that contributed to the success of the event.

In the Department of Commerce, Khushi Chaudhary was bestowed the title of Ms. Fresher, while Saima secured the runner-up position. Likewise, in the Department of BCA, Shikha emerged as the Ms. Fresher, and Arpita was declared the runner-up. The Department of Science saw Khushi earning the title of Ms. Fresher, with Shallu being honored as the Runner up. Muskan claimed the title of Ms. Fresher in the Department of Humanities, and Anjali was designated as the Runner up.

The culmination of the event was marked by a gracious vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sheel Singh. As the evening reached its crescendo, the stage came alive with the vibrant energy of students who danced with unbridled enthusiasm to their favorite melodies.
