Candidates must provide a photocopy of their Matriculation certificate, a Senior Secondary Examination pass certificate, and a Detailed Marks Card (DMC) from the qualifying examination to the counseling session.
Maharshi Dayanand University has announced the admission schedule for PhD students in the Department of Education for the 2025 academic year. Admission will be granted in three rounds, provided that seats remain vacant after each round. The counseling process for the first round of admission will take place on January 3, 2025.

MDU PhD Program Documents Required
The list of documents candidates must have with them at the time of counseling is mentioned below:
- A copy of the matriculation certificate
- Pass certificate for the Senior Secondary Examination and the qualifying exam's Detailed Marks Card (DMC)
- Both the original degree certificate and, if you are a student from another university, a photocopy of the DMC of the qualifying degree Migration certificate
- Character evaluation from the previous school
- Reserved Category Certificate and any further relevant certificates, if any
- If applicable, a copy of your most recent Haryana government income certificate and your Haryana residency certificate
- undertaking with relation to the gap year, if any
- If you are employed, a scanned copy of your employer's No Objection Certificate with your signature and photo
Details about the candidate's admittance will be emailed to the email address provided when they submitted the application. A candidate who fails to present an original copy of any of the aforementioned documents will lose their admission opportunity.
