WBJEE Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
As per the official information bulletin 2026 released by the WBJEE Board, the WBJEE Physics exam pattern includes 3 sections: Category-1 (30 questions), Category-2 (5 questions), Category-3 (5 questions).
The exam will be conducted offline (OMR-based).
- The physics paper will include 40 questions (all compulsory).
- The time provided to attempt the paper will be 60 minutes.
- The physics paper will have a total of 50 marks.
In the exam, 30 questions have a positive marking of +1, and the remaining 10 questions have a positive marking of +2.
