Talking about library, in library you can find any kind of journal, in general you can find any kind of journal on University Wi-Fi as it is free through the university Wi-Fi but you can find n number of books in the library and if you want a particular book you can just give an application for that book through your HOD.

The main internships that come true this college are basically government projects that are under the professor so the standard is good in that that is around 25k to 35k which is good and the projects have and clear specified outcome and they take many years to complete so it is quite stable if you want to apply for them also and different internship come through the mail as in the mailing system of the university you get all the notification of all the events and projects and internship opportunities available there also private companies that come to this university and you can also try to that.

The reason is that not only I have completed my graduation (B.Tech) in similar course, but also I would get opportunity to learn about modern technologies effectively. At CUP, Bathinda, M.Tech is provided in two streams namely Computer Science and Technology (CST) and Cyber Security (CS). When I was part of this institution, there were 24 students in CST and 15 students in CS. Further talking about faculty:student ratio in the department, it is approximately 10:40. All professors have either completed or are pursuing doctoral degree. The teaching method includes both whiteboard teaching and PowerPoint presentations. While final examination is conducted in objective mode online, monthly examination is subjective of 24 marks. Also, surprise quizzes and assignments are conducted. Examination is of above average level. Moreover, emphasis is led on increasing R&D quotient in students.

The university has student clubs that work on both cultural and technical aspects. A yearly fest that marks the foundation of the institute is conducted every year in February. Furthermore, the university's library is quite vast containing academic books in various educational streams, monthly journals, and newspapers as well as there is provision for e-books. All a student requires is to have a library membership. Now, talking about classrooms, although not spacious enough, they are well-ventilated with comfortable furniture, and good quality whiteboards plus projectors. Alongside cultural fests, the institution has teams excelling in sports such as Badminton, Tennis, Cricket to name a few. In addition, universities have been host to many national-level educational seminars and conferences.

About the M.tech course

The faculty was up to the mark except a few. Self-study is being insisted. Yes, ideal references were given from time to time for guiding the students in a logical manner but it is not suitable for each and every student. Average and below-average students need extra attention. And this is the responsibility of college faculty to look into their problems. Overall it?s good.

Placement Experience

Wonderful placements for our senior batch. 70% of students were placed. About 90 %students got an internship from the college. Many big companies visited our university like Infosys, Wipro, etc. for providing placements to the students Many more big companies come to our university for placements and the maximum number of students got placed last year.

This is a state university which has a long history. The fees to be paid by the students is very nominal when compared to other Universities in the state and Deemed universities. This is an affordable fee. The fees is categorized based on the caste. The SC/ST students need not pay anything. Besides this, there is also a provision for GATE scholarship.

Exam Structure

Per every year you will have 2 semester!! For mtech that what im studying has 4 subjects. For eact subject you will have one pravtical exam as well as one written exam! There will be totally of 8 exams! At the end of the exams there will be a semester end viva. Where all the topics discussed in those subjects are asked by the group of personnel in the presence of an examiner or external examiner.

I got admission in this college by applying for entrance examination called aucet!! Here gate score is also consider for the admission! But i i apllied for aucet! There after i wrote the entrance test and qualified for it!! By this entrance exam i got a certified percentage in it! The score i got met the expected cut off mark to get admission!! Thus i got admission!

I am currently pursuing Mtech in computer science and technology at central university of Punjab bathinda. Course curriculum is not that good. Though they are teaching subjects as per current industrial demand that is Machine learning and artificial intelligence also big data.But faculties are unable to manage the curriculum properly.One has to sit for classes from morning 9 am to evening 5 pm and in between lot of time gets wasted which is a big problem.

Campus life is great you will meet students coming from all the way from Kerela to Kashmir.There are many students from all parts of India maximum are from Kashmir, Kerela, Orissa,Bihar and Punjab of course.Gender ratio is good .There is inter college sports competition held every year.Labs are great for students who are pursuing medicines competition such as robotics does not take place but debates competition is held every semester.

Notification was issued by institute immediately after the GATE results are announced. Sent filled-in admission for along with required certificates like proof of DoB, final degree obtained (provisional certificate) and GATE score. After scrutinizing the forms, institute called the short-listed candidates for written test at the institute. After conducting a written test, institute short-listed the top scoring candidates for admission into M.Tech program.

There were basically two events at the college. One is technical and another is cultural. Students from across the north east colleges attend these two events. Technical event involves some class room teachings, hacks and hands-on experiments such as robotics. While the culture festival involves dance, music etc.

You will come out of the college with atleast 2 extra curricular activity while passout. Labs are maintained with high technology and free Wifi. Every year Sports competitions are conducted and research expo are also exibuted with different technologies.

Almost all the members and some times 100% placements are recorded in the history of this college while in placements. Top MNC's like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant etc had campus interviews every year and will heir you by paying huge packages. Minimum package would be 8 lakhs for fresher passing out in that year.

You just fill the the CCMT account and whole process is online so you do not have to go anywhere for filling form.In that form you to fill the all eligible colleges and branches in the priority-wise. You can also checks the previous years cut-off marks for any colleges, based on that you can fill the choices. After that they notify some tentative dates for 1 st round counselling. If you got any college then you have to go for registered college for verification either you want to take that college or cancel that. You can wait for other rounds for better colleges .

Placements are very good for our branches CS and IT students for Btech Average for other branches. Many respected and dreamed companies are also come like GOOGLE, AMAZON, MICROSOFT, DIRETCI, etc.but they gave the pretty good packages. on the other hand many other companies like INFOSYS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT,IBM,L&T, etc are also come. but the packages are not too good around 3.5-4.5 only. Also college provide some better opportunity by medium packers company and startups .For PG student they don't provide much opportunity. Officially only TCS R&D has came for us.

Well I would say it was a mix & match of both a chilled out/hectic atmosphere. During the Examination period it used to get really difficult. The staff was so helpful & cool that they use to solve our problem and clear our understanding even at the last moment (before start of the examination). Labs were Hot (Hot as in Hectic) during the college hours but it used to become a battle ground in the evening hours, where we and our seniors used to play LAN Games(Counter Strike) till the first light of the morning.

Yes, there were Sports, Cultural, National level seminars & other events held in the college from time to time. Cultural fest was called Aurora, where as the sports was called as Twaran. This Cultural event was a national level event were invitation are sent to all the colleges and invite them to participate the fest which had both cultural as well as Brain events involved in it.
