Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good but the syllabus is pretty much old with no emphasis on the latest technology and research teachers are somehow good but what lacks is a commitment in them they have turned into bizarre due to the prevailing situation in Kashmir. The curriculum involves theoretical as well as practical classes of equal value.

Placement Experience

3.5

Wonderful placements for our senior batch. 70% of students were placed. About 90 %students got an internship from the college. Many big companies visited our university like Infosys, Wipro, etc. for providing placements to the students Many more big companies come to our university for placements and the maximum number of students got placed last year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For M.TECH fee is feasible to afford by every student I.e.INR 40,000 which includes tuition fees, admission fees & registration fees also, waive off some percentage of the fee for the SC/ST/ OBC category students. There is a rebate for students who scored above 95%.

Campus Life

Extracurricular activities are conducted regularly. one festival held annually at the campus is a cultural festival with an emphasis on the traditional culture of Kashmir. Hardly any average student turned out for the festival which ran around Management people and the administration.

Admission

Students seeking admission to 2-year full-time M.Tech program should have passed B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering with 60% marks at the qualifying degree level. For taking admission GATE entrance test must qualify the test based on the Entrance test and academics admission is given.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty was up to the mark except a few. Self-study is being insisted. Yes, ideal references were given from time to time for guiding the students in a logical manner but it is not suitable for each and every student. Average and below-average students need extra attention. And this is the responsibility of college faculty to look into their problems. Overall it?s good.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible in the 7th semester for the placement. But there are not many placements provided by the university so we have to search for jobs on our own. I think only 10% of students get placed and they get around 5lpa package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology because drugs and medications fascinates me. The curriculum is well structured preparing the scholars for real world challenges. Scholars can get jobs in various pharmaceutical companies as well as drug regulating government bodies. This curriculum is a bit difficult in comparison with other fields because of vast information and syllabus related to drug mechanisms and Toxicology.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Computer science is an interesting course with a good job opportunity. The exams however are exhausting, not that difficult but exhausting. The question papers are prepared by the faculty itself and papers are checked by the faculty too.

The students become eligible from 7th semister for the university placements. There are various companies that visit the university like TCS, Airtel, Jio, Infosys, etc. Some students do get placed at packages of around 5 LPA. My plans are to develop skills and apply for jobs outside university placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason for me to choose this course was its caught my attention and my interest in this field grew with time. The curriculum can be made better with practicals and real world visits to put our theoretical understanding into practice. The frequency of exams is normal with good timings. And I would rate the difficulty 3.5/5 of the exams.

Placement Experience:

I think the students become eligible for placements after 6 th semester, if you are from CS / IT then you'll get enough opportunities for yourself... I know 8-9 seniors who have grabbed a pretty decent package from companies like Oracle If somehow you fail to get recruited on campus then i guess the off campus option is open for all I am pretty satisfied with the placement record atleast for IT The percentage placement for this year CSE was 51 considering recession part this seems good to me

This course is really helpful as you don't have to wait for one year after the graduation for doing masters and preparing for exams. Here you are directly going for Masters without giving any exam without wasting your time. You are directly going to pursue masters

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically the faculty also does not know what questions will be in the external exams, so they need to cover whole syllabus and 4 months are not sufficient to cover the whole syllabus. I did not learn any practical thing there so it was the worse decision of my life to join the course. The curriculum only prepares you to handle the pressure and makes you really strong. "What will happen with 1 backlog now" They first need to know what is important and what can they skip. Timings were good but the last 2 semisters were taken in 8 months that was difficult to manage
