Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fees is lesser compared to other colleges of the same tier like lpu kiit and Amity, cu has comparatively less fees and also cu gives us a chance of getting Max of 100% scholarship and a minimum of 10% you just have to give a online test called cucet and most of the students are able ro grab 40% scholarship easily many students even grab 90 or even 100% on their skills or academic but they have to go multiple rounds of examination for that

Course Curriculum Overview

This course was so unique. And I like to learn about the processing of different packed foods and beverages. Especially about beverage technology. In the syllabus, they mention beverage technology in the 7th seem but sadly since it was an elective course they didn't take this subject. Sufficient staff were not there. Exams are not so difficult.

Campus Life

Since this college was closure college, we were not given a permanent campus. Only one cultural program takes in a year. For my course, too many books were available in the library. There was no lab facility. There were no student-run social groups or clubs. Sports meets are held.

Course Curriculum Overview

It was new and we have a good scope in future. There were 7 teaching staff and 4 non-teaching staff. All the staff were Master's degree holders and we had exams every two months and a semester in every five months. It was tough to pass as it was a problematic paper.

Fees and Financial Aid

It costs around 1lakh per year. I didn't get any scholarship as I am from a forward community. But many people will apply to get it. They did not provide any internship either. We went on our own interest. It would be better if they provided internship with a stipend.

Course Curriculum Overview

Most of the faculties here have done PhD in their courses. So they are well educated. So many engineering options are available here. The most unique engineering course is "food processing technology engineering" here. And it is only taught in 2 colleges in the whole Gujarat. Students are choosen on a merit basis (70% marks of 12th board and 30% marks of gujcet) so they all are Toppers. Teaching is done through green board and projector PPTs. Now due to Corona, it is done online in Microsoft teams. One can use labs and do their experiments 24X7 (only with permission of faculties). The courses are so interesting. The exam is conducted by GTU (Gujrat technical university). It's a little difficult to pass. If you do previous years' papers, you'll definitely pass the externals. 3 exams in each of the 8 sems 2 internals and 1 external. Marks for internals are conducted best of two. So you can skip 2nd internal if you think you have done enough score in 1st internal in the respective subject.

Fees and Financial Aid

106000/- INR per year. So total 424000/- INR for 4 years. One can give fees before every semester start. It is 54000/- INR. But one must have to pay semester fees before the semester starts. So many scholarships are available here. For example, AICTE's Pragati & saksham scholarship, scholarships for ST students, scholarship for SC students, scholarship for OBC, Scholarship for NRI students, most of the scholarship's criteria is that your family income per year must not be more than 150000/- INR or score in 12th grade must be 80 or more than 80 Pr (Percentile rank). One can also take student loans for their studies. Scholarship named MYSY will provide 50% fees (53000/- INR) per year. About jobs and Placement, they say the placement rate of this college is high, and last year in food processing technology engineering, it was 100%. And some students also go for higher studies (ME - master of engineering).

Campus Life

The campus life and social life of the institution is very poor like the students there are only meant for studying the syllabus and pass the respective exams they even make you sit in class till 6:00 pm and give you extra classes. There are no discussions or clubs taken place on campus in fact there is no leisure time on campus apart from the lunch intervals.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculties are very helpful and supportive most of the teachers are friendly our HOD is the one best thing in the whole college everyone students love him and other department students are jealous of our HOD he is very supportive in all manners. And as there is plenty of scope in food technology it is easy to get a job.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is pretty good which is designed by the faculties that have years of hands-on experience in the food industry. Last semester of the course involves an industrial training of 96 working days which is a great opportunity for students to learn how practically the industry is working and gives them a needful exposure. Each and every faculty of the department have at least 15 years of experience in the industry. Mishra Sir and Head of department Srivastav Sir are powerhouse of knowledge and are very good personalities that have great vision. Ganorkar sir is way too good when it comes to industrial knowledge and Food security.

Internships Opportunities

I had 2 internships and both didn't pay any stipend. One was in Food and drugs laboratory which is a government laboratory which carries out various tests to confirm every detail claimed by the company and cross-check for the presence of any adulteration. It was a 10-days internship. Second was of 96 working days in Havmor Ice-cream Pvt Ltd. Remarks

ADIT is the only college which offers a B.E degree in Food Processing Technology. Along with this the faculties are highly qualified for this particular department. Other than academics the college has really good infrastructure for cultural and sports which help in overall development.
