Sports is a very active space of our college,while campus is remarkable and beautiful with all facilities
The senior faculty and staff members are really very well throughout their respective subjects .they are well literate and promote good quality education among the students....they give a brief knowledge of the subject
First of all , the placements are pretty decent and roi are really good for the upper branch like computer science, info tech , electronics instrumentation and electronics communication the average package is between the 9 lpa to 11 lpa

Dislikes

There was an annual fest called ayaam but it closed due to a fight between students during the event and now no such events in college.
The placement is decent but it has gone down severely in the recession period.
Many of the faculties are soo much good btw some of them are horrible as they do not support students.and i also dislike the 75% attendance criteria as it is not got for students who want to do other activities.

SGSITS no 1 govt college

Likes

sgsits provide better college life .there are many clubs in the college for personality development.like GS Production house ; placement cell , kshitij club , pratibimb club , ojaswa
sgsits provide research opportunities through Idea Lab
Teaching method of faculties is very good. extra classes are taken

Dislikes

college timing are very bad. the college timing is 10 to 6 pm
sgsits has less hostel occupancy . the hostels is very old
labs instruments are very old and outdated

Incubation center is good it provides opportunities

Dislikes

No much placement opportunities and training and placement cell doesn't do their work properly
There is no good college events. In the name of event they just show dances of students
There is always fight between students. Ragging is still going on in college hostel

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placement. Many companies visited including Goldman with an offer of 23 LPA, Duitch Bank with 19 LPA, cardekho, Accenture, and 40 other companies And approximately 250 got placed. The highest package was 23 lpa, the average was 4.5 lpa, and the lowest was 2 lpa. 40% got placed. And I am searching for a job.

SGSITS Indore - all about it !!

The most I like is College campus, although its not as big as IITs but it is covered with trees all around, we have all type of sport facilities within the campus including cricket ground, table tennis court, volley and an indoor sports complex.
Second thing campus itself have a stationary which is stationary less and a snack shop more and we also have cafe area inside college where you got everything from breakfast to tasty dishes, we also have a dining hall where we get lunch at low price
The third most like thing is College gym which is much cheaper than outside. And last college location, railway station is just 1km from it, and last on every 10 students we got a mentor which help in every situation not only related to academics

Dislikes

Everything here is good, except we can't use sports complex and ground after 11pm.
There is only one cultural event take place every year.
Not all but of the staff proffessor which are on adopt not have much knowledge

We got our curriculum before the start of our semester which is strictly followed by the college and everything was according to it. We have subject which are necessary for placement and different labs for various visual study purpose

My college (SGSITS) review

Likes

This college offers smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, a huge library, a science laboratory, and a large canteen.
The companies like Deloitte, Mu-sigma, Vedanta, Ittiam, SAP Labs, Capgemini, Asian Paints, Indian Steel

Dislikes

You will not want to miss any of their lectures, But some faculty members have no proper teaching methodology

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite impressive they designed it in a way that makes a student ready for outside world and that is the reason why students got placed in large numbers even from core branches.The frequency of the classes is 3 to 4 per week because college opens only for Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday is off for students.and the duration of the classes is 1 hour.

All about SGSITS

Likes

The crowd here is very good and intelligent.All the clear jee with very good scores and all are like minded.
The placement opportunities are very good you will get good packages here.
The faculties here is very knowledgeable.Many of them are graduated and done their PhD from IITs.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not so good but you easily get pgs near college
The fest Aayam is not like the fests in IIT or NIT.
The campus area is small but yes it is sufficient

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good but yes it's not up to the mark.We get some industry related opportunities but not so much.But yes teaching methods are very good.Like In my course that is computer science there are conferences and hackathons organize for students and there are so much clubs and societies related to our branch which enhance our social and intellectual skills.

The experience is good but academic pressure is more as compared to other MP Government College
You will find all the thing you want in Engineering college
Girls boys ratio is good as compared to other colleges

Dislikes

Campus is small as compared to nits and iits
Sports facilities are not good grounds are small

Placement is good in Electrical engineering like if you maintain 7.5 cgpa every year you will get 8 to 10 lakh package per annum Curriculum is good like if you compare to iits you will find some similarities in itso it prepares well for real life applications The mid sem exam held every month and end sem held in 4 months so you get less to time to prepare for exam

SGSITS offers wide range of undergraduates & postgraduates programs in engineering
SGSITS has a commendable record of placements . The college has dedicated placement cell called Training and Placement Cell (T&P cell)
SGSITS has a vast alumni network across various industries and sectors

Dislikes

Despite being a prominent college of Madhya Pradesh , this college faces problem in maintenance due to lack in funding
some departments within the college may experience shortage of experienced faculties
SGSIT may offer limited international exposure such as study abroad programs

Placement Experience:

placements of our college are pretty good . Now , talking about placements from my branch , the highest package was from my branch (Electronics and Telecommunication engineering) . That was of 45 LPA.

A True Review about SGSTIS, Indore

Likes

The thing I liked the most in my college is its large well campus life and well developed infrastructure.
The facility provided by the college in the field of sports is too awesome with lush green grounds for specific sport
One more thing is its faculty's experience in their particular subject with extraordinary teaching method with the help of different skills

Dislikes

One more thing that is needed to improve by the College is its facility for the student to submit the required documents throughout the year

Placement Experience:

As it is a government engineering College so the placements of the college is too good and students are Eligible to get placed from 6th semester onwards. Highest package is around 32 LPA and average package is around 6 LPA.

Likes

College infrastructure is great and very big classes
Great in sports, very big playground for all sports.
Faculties are great, very helpful professors and teachers.

Dislikes

Attendance policy is a little bad, student gets detained sometimes
Canteen is a bit old and does not provide variety
Classes doesn't have AC in it and ventilation

The course I am persuing is ETC which stands for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. It is very useful branch as it helps in improving practical experience of the student. It also helps in improving real life skills.
