This college offers smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, a huge library, a science laboratory, and a large canteen.
The companies like Deloitte, Mu-sigma, Vedanta, Ittiam, SAP Labs, Capgemini, Asian Paints, Indian Steel

Dislikes

You will not want to miss any of their lectures, But some faculty members have no proper teaching methodology

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is quite impressive they designed it in a way that makes a student ready for outside world and that is the reason why students got placed in large numbers even from core branches.The frequency of the classes is 3 to 4 per week because college opens only for Monday to Friday and Saturday and Sunday is off for students.and the duration of the classes is 1 hour.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 11000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In my time I didn't see any hikes in tution fee. The complete cost depends upon which course you choose like computer and science and information and technology branches charges higher fees and the fees of industrial production is comparatively low . But on an average the complete cost of the course is around 5-6 lakh for 4 years.

Campus Life

There is a college annual fest named "AAYAM". and there is many clubs too for photography,art and culture,dance,music,and nsc. There is a Central library too in the college campus itself that has Every kind of books related to every subject teaching in the College. There is a sports event also in which there are many sports which played in inter and intra college level such as cricket,football,kho kho etc

Admission

To get admission in this(B.Tech.)course you have to appear in jee exams and then you should have score good marks because the cutoff of this college is quite high because sometimes the computer and science branchget close for 20k 25k AIR. Yes there is reservation benefits first you get benefitted in getting seat and then you get scholarship (post matric scholarship). End semester exams conducted two time every year and in each sem there is two MSTs(mid semester test)

Faculty

Faculties are well qualified and most of them are graduated from well recognised colleges of India and even some of them are graduated from IITs. The faculty to student ratio is good and that is why there will be no free lectures due to unavailability of teachers. They are quite approachable inside and even outside the classroom,they make you comfortable and listen to your problems or doubts and help to sort that out.

Affordable College with Decent Opportunities and Scope for Self- Growth.

Placement Experience:

Placement at SKITM are decent and improving year by year . Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Reputed companies like TCS,wipro , Infosys and some emerging firms visit the campus. The averages package is around 3-4 LPA ,while the higher goes upto 6-7 LPA in some cases . Around 60% students get placed , especially those who have good technical skills and communication skills. The college also provide basic training and guidance for placements, which helps students prepare for interview The college provide some support, but it is not enough for high - paying jobs, so students need to prepare on their own.

Deom semester 2 students can avail for internship and from semester 4 students can avial for placements There are several companies like accentire, Infosys, tcs, learn flu, pcs pvt ltd, advikait, internslite, blucurcursor, rackbank etc It make about 280 offers The highest package is 11 lpa and average is 4 lpa 70 percent students get placed

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year onwards I think the students are eligible for campus placements. And till now around 90 companies have visited this campus and highest package till now is 70 LPA and average package is 7 LPA. Around 1500 students every year get placed from this campus. And my plans after the degree is either landing in a high paying job or staring with my own startup.

About placement, I would say companies used to visit. If a person is serious and want to grow then he has the opportunity to face the FAAN companies only if he has scored the gpa above 9 in whole 8 semsters.

In my collge Students typically become eligible to participate in campus recruitment drives from the 7th Semester(start of the 4th year).However , the collge starts preparation much earlier through Campus Recruitment Training(CRT) and soft skills classes, which often begin as early as the 1st and 2nd emester to ensure students are industry-ready. Total Offers:For the 2024-2025 cycle,the institute reported over 300 to 450+ offers across various branches. Key Companies: IT/Software:TCS(Top recruiter), Infosys , Wipro , Capgemini , Cognizant ,HCL , Accenture, Cisco , Tech Mahindra Netlink ,Jaro education , Logical Softtech , KD provission , Kadel labs , Blueflames and many more. Total Companies Visited: Over 200+ companies (including 150+ core companies). The salary trends vary significantly between on-campus mass recruitment and off-campus offers. Verage package 5.0 - 9.0 LPA. Approximately 75% to 84% of eligible students get placed.The CSE and IT branches see the highest success rates(often 80%+), while core branches like Mechanical and Civil focuses more on the core companies placements. I got an offer at cognizant during my college so currently I am not looking for the higher studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college are very good in one sense but okayish in some other. Many companies visit the college but only some of them are good and if one loses opportunity in some top companies, then only low paying companies remain. Students become eligible for college placements after 6 semester. Some top companies visiting for placements include, Goldman Sachs, Databricks, Google, Zomato, Amazon, etc. All of the students in my branch have received their offers except one or two, who will receive it eventually. Highest package this year is 1.04Cr INR and average would fall around 30L INR. Percentage of students getting placed in my branch is around always 100%. My plans after a degree is to work in industry offered to me by my placements, but even if I don't get on campus placement, I would be seeking out off campus placements and I am positive, I'll be in good place.

In the last year or 7th semester you will be able to attend campus recruitment and get placed in a reputed company. Last year there was approx 100+ company comes to the college for recruiting students. Last year their highest package is approx 10LPA and a minimum of 4LPA. Approx 80% of students are getting placed till last year and some of them are working in MNCs right now and some of them are opening their startups. After graduation, I decided to pursue higher studies abroad.

Sgsits Cs is my first priority but not enough to get there so aim for IT the reason why i end up here is because i got manipulated and every one is saying as it rank 3rd in mp. I love to join mnit but its not enough to get in there. Apply for ugeee but fail to crack and i don't want to apply for bits because it is super expensive i want to join government college but its my wrong choice to join this college. SGSITS: JUST A BIG BRAND

I applied for IET davv but I kept it as second preference in MP dte counselling. Other options available for me were some IIITs and lower branches in NITs but I wanted to go for IT sector. Now reason for me for choosing this college was it was slight better than iet and slight lower than IIITs but fees of IIITs was very high, So I didn't applied for them. When I applied for sgsits suddenly they increased their fees. I had no option left other than iet or taking sgsits, but in between confusions and dilemma I choosen sgsits by suggestions of relatives and other elders. Admission process is done through MP dte counselling, based on jee mains rank. Cutoff of general category for IT branch is about AIR 45,000. The college is good in terms of placement and development of students

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed.
