Internships at sgsits start by the 3rd year. firms like goldman sach and TCS offer roles in SDE and analytics with stipends up to 30K rs. projects involve real world coding, improving software deployment skills.

Companies like goldman and oracle used to come in 2nd year for internship. Highest stipend lies around 30-40k per month and lower ones provides about 10k per month. But hardly 10% of students get on campus internships.

As mostly comanies comes with the criteria that the students of only these braches can be present for the internship. Companies in our college usually comes in fifth semester for internship and the stipend is around 1 lac or more. The companies which comes to our college are Goldman Sachs, mastercard, Deutsche Bank and they also offer ppo. Students gets to do this internship by the end of their 6th semester and before the starting of their seventh semester. Projects plays a major role while securing a internship as that time you do not have any experience so they judge you on the basis of your projects. You should have atleast two projects one based on DSA and other on development.

There are companies like Goldmann Sachs which do come , students have to prepare there skills more effectively to get selected and for that you have to study on their own and learn more skills as it is main factor that is required the most.
