The First Round of Counselling shall be done based on a Valid GATE Score. If the Seats remains vacant then the decision regarding holding of second round of counselling either separately based on marks obtained in the entrance test and/or simultaneously with the counselling based on percentage of marks obtained (As per the criteria for Award of degree by University/Institution) in the qualifying examination shall be taken by the competent authority.

I have applied to many nits and I got seat in NIT bhopal in electronics and communication branch. But I chose Sgsits cse over nit bhopal ece because I wanted to pursue my career in cse and I have no interest in ece. The admission process of the college is easy . First filling of application through date and then if we get seat we have to report college for the final admission process which is just of 1-2 hours and after fee submission your admission is confirmed. For BTech the scores accepted are of Jee mains. The cutoff can be considered above 90 percentile.

I actually got a seat in nit surat but there I was getting the chemical engineering branch which I think is not so good for girls. That's why I chose SGSITS because here I was getting the information technology branch which is good for girls. I applied for electronics and telecommunication engineering branch in nit bhopal and surat but couldn't get as I belong to general category. Admission in our college is based on jee mains percentile and also there are reservations for category students. Also you get one more chance to upgrade your branch in second years of your college based on your first year cgpa.

Admission:

I applied to this college through MPDTE state counseling as it is on the top in this counseling. I didn't get good branches in the nits's so I have to opt for this. I think now it's necessary to focus on academics for future reference.
