24 Nov, 2025 CLAT 2026 is scheduled for December 7, 2025, from 2 PM to 4 PM for admission to the 5-year LLB program. The Admit card has been released. Candidates can download the same directly @consortiumofnlus.ac.in. To know more, click here.

SOEL offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Research courses in Law, including LLM, BALLB, B.Com LLB, BBALLB, BCA LLB and Ph.D program. LLM is the flagship course at SOEL. Candidates should have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).

Candidates can apply online for the admission to the courses at SOEL. Final Selection will be based on the merit in the qualifying exam followed by counselling. The cutoff will be released on the official website in the category wise. The last date of Admission to the 3 year LLB program is July 25, 2025.

Admission to the LLM program candidate must have completed graduation in Law. Final selection will be based on merit in graduation followed by counselling. Admission to the LLM has already started and will remain open till Aug 08, 2025. Application Fee is INR 1000 for the General category and INR 500 for the other category.

SOEL LLM Admission 2025

SOEL offers the LLM program as the flagship course. For admission to the LLM program, candidates must have completed a 3 year or 5 year LLB degree from a recognized university with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST). The final selection will be based on merit in the qualifying examination.

SOEL BALLB Admission 2025

SOEL offers the BALLB program as the 5 year Law integrated program, Admission to this program is based on the merit basis. Eligibility for BALLB program candidates must have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks.

Admission:

The reputation of the college is good in the society which made me to join in this college. I haven't applied for any other colleges than soel.It's a govt college so the admission is through counselling .There will be three counselling . The students who got more than 85% in their 12 th grade are available to get the admission.

I applied for vit and I attended the PI and I got selected at the same time I was waiting for the counselling call from soel as it is also a good college and the fee structure would be affordable compared to vit

SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE IN LAW- THE PROS AND CONS

Admission:

I applied for three colleges totally. The other too are SRM, katankulathur and SASTRA Thanjavur. The cutoff here is much higher here than the other two colleges. I basically want to practice law. So i thought that it would be great if I could come to court on regular basis and My college is very close to Madras High court and I found that as a great advantage.

Great College for Law aspirers

Admission:

During 2019- The eligiblity for the BCALLB course was minimum of 70% with Computer background (Commerce with Computer Subject could apply too) There were many reservations, [Ex-servicemen, Eminent Sports Person, Tribes etc] The application form was to be collected from the college itself, but now the whole process in online. Online admission was my suggestion, which they did.

In the administration process, there were no entrance exams for it, it is fully based on the merit marks scored by the students in 12th student at the school level. And based on special reservations also used to select the students for the admission like the students who has army backgrounds and the students who were physically disabled were given admission the administration process was quite good so far and the admission process was quite good in the college
