Course Curriculum Overview

Law is a professional course..it is a main aspect for me to choose law..since I'm a student from arts background I can't go to other professional courses like MBBS BE etc External exams are conducted for every 6 months and there is also internal and viva voce for students Court visits from college helps us to gain more practical knowledge and to understand the procedures of court

Fees and Financial Aid

The major advantage of Dr Ambedkar law University is it's fees structure which offers a affordable fees of Rs.1000-2000 per year.. Scholarships were also available for BC and SC/ST students..Also various govt schemes and scholarships are implemented here

Campus Life

Our university mainly focuses on the academics since it is an professional course but also conducts sports events among the college affiliated under the university .. Culturals and Pongal celebration are also conducted

Admission

Extrance exams are not needed here.. Admission is based on the merit list (12th grade marks or UG marks) Cutoff marks are alloted on the community basis and rank lists are provided.. Mostly counselling in online mode and submission of documents on offline mode

Faculty

Faculties are very kind towards the students.. Faculty giving a outline before getting into the subject helps the students to understand the concept of the subject..They are also getting involved in the activities other than academics such as sports,moot court activities

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is not great when compared to other national law university but still better than some private colleges. Companies such as Trilegal, Argus has visited our college to recruit students. Though I plan on pursuing judiciary.

Placement Experience:

I don't know about placement. But I have heard that this college having the campus recruitment from various corporate companies. And personally know one of our senior got the job with the salary of around 80000 per month.

Life at SRM School of Law

Placement Experience:

Placements are very mediocre. Few companies like Zoho, Agarwal, Etc visit for campus interviews but they offer less package. As for my knowledge maybe 2-5% get placed. I plan to practice as an advoca after graduating.

Best Government Law college in Madurai

Remarks:

The Government Law College, Madurai is overall a good college. The infrastructure of the college is quite good. Faculty is also helping and skilled. Labs are updated and the library has a variety of useful books. The college is having a lot of facilities like hostel facility canteen facility sports etc.

Great College for Law aspirers

During 2019- The eligiblity for the BCALLB course was minimum of 70% with Computer background (Commerce with Computer Subject could apply too) There were many reservations, [Ex-servicemen, Eminent Sports Person, Tribes etc] The application form was to be collected from the college itself, but now the whole process in online.
