Likes

Better academic syllabus, qualified staffs, better learning and knowledge gaining opportunity
Good campus life, hostel day and fresher programs every year, other academic events every month
Clean and hygiene food, daily veg and non veg food, good

Dislikes

High cost in canteen, sometimes hostel regulations are strict, no outside food is allowed

Course Curriculum Overview

Law is a vast subject with various subjects, studying law is own interest of choice and more than academic efforts we have to outsource and network for various other things to build ypir resume and gain a overall experience, which stands as a fundamental for the carrer.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees per year for the current year is 1,50,000/year and no additional fees is instituted for my course. No category wise fees. The hostel fee for AC room is 2,05,000/year and for Non Ac room is 1,05,000/year. Scholarship aid of 7,000 rupees per sem is provided by the college it self for academic toppers every semester. The fees structure increases every year and the fees structure for current 1st year is 1,75,000/year.

Campus Life

Though we have little campus celebration and campus life we have the most grand cultural event every year, our clg is known for that cultural event all over the town, we have various clubs and centres specific to their own departments and students actively participate and conduct events in regular basis!

Admission

My clg had better opportunities and exposure than those clgs i applied for, they had more batches passed out and quality education and hostel facility, faculties in here is good and qualified. So i choose a better clg!

Faculty

As i am studying in 5 year course i have 10 semesters and i have 7- 5 papers per semester. The faculty teachers are so supportive and well qualified. Exams are easier to pass if you get a good score in your internals.

Night Life

We cant have any nitlife in clg if you're opting for hostel, because one one is allowed to go out during nits and after 6 pm no is allowed to come out and roam around the campus, but if you're opting hostels outside clg, the nit life around our clg is really good and so active!!

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is not great when compared to other national law university but still better than some private colleges. Companies such as Trilegal, Argus has visited our college to recruit students. Though I plan on pursuing judiciary.

We started to get such offers right from fourth year which are internships from practising advocates. Accenture, Insurance Companies and Fintech Cos. Average students get placed in such companies. To practice for which percentage is not necessary.

Best Government Law college in Madurai

Remarks:

The Government Law College, Madurai is overall a good college. The infrastructure of the college is quite good. Faculty is also helping and skilled. Labs are updated and the library has a variety of useful books. The college is having a lot of facilities like hostel facility canteen facility sports etc.

Genuine review for the sathyabama institute of science and technology

I have applied for GITAM, BITS but I have chosen Sathyabama over all these colleges, as the college is having good infrastructure and really delicious mess food along with good placements and faculty. I did not apply for any quota as it is deemed university. I have written its university exam. I got admission through that exam. In counselling, I asked them the Electronics and communication engineering. They have given them the course I asked for. There are no minimum marks or age criteria.
