Faculty and the connections we make during our three years of course

The hostel had specific timings and restrictions however could be a little more lenient
Placement Experience:
Well the placements is really good and the ROI is well compensated. Again it truly lies on each student how they showcase during their placements. We roughly had around 20 companies for our placements during covid however it has increased i believe
One of the best education provided all across India
Its a JNU affiliated university hence the certificate value is higher
The opportunities provided is way beyond our imagination and is very vast
Dislikes
The infrastructure of the college is quite grumpy
There could have been a dedicated sports committe for the college
Intercollege events should be conducted more (sports especially)
Placement Experience:
IHM offers very good placements for the students. IHM are the only central government and reputed institute of india. There are total of around 21 IHM's in india. IHM trivandrum offers 100% placements for the students. It depends on each and individual student whether he/she wants the placement job or not
Freedom and lots of activities to do for a student, people who opted for the course because the liked the industry will for sure enjoy the course.
Faculties are extremely experienced and helpfull, classes are really interactive

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum consists of mainly practicals and 1st half of college everyday is basically one big practical session where we team up with other students to learn many things. 4 main subjects: Food Production, Accomodation Operations, Food and Beverage Services & Front Office
From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements
Four seasons Maldives, Biriyani by the kilo, Reliance retail
Many companies used to come for placements but as I graduated during covid times this was not the case
I will be doing master's abroad
Approximately 90 percent of the students get through the interviews.
In the 3rd year, students will be faced with interviews and will be prepared well for it before the faculties.
And industrial training will be conducted in the second year.
The student needs to clear the NCHMCT-JEE entrance exam with a minimum of 5580 rank to get admission in the course that you have chosen. Other than that, you need to have passed class 12th or its equivalent from any of the recognized board with English as one of the major subjects. The selection will be done on the merits basis of the JEE score and if you clear the cutoff marks of the relevant course, you will go through an online counselling process after which you will be granted admission in the college.
The institute was always my first preference. It had all the facilities which I was always looking for back then. The alumni of our time was helpful and supportive. The campus life was enjoyable and fun to experience. I had great time.
It's very good but not a fantastic place to study the course is good but due to this corona thing we don't know what is the future of tourism industry please keep that in mind before joining
