The course is very structured and has been kept to the essential factors needed to provide a student with all the knowledge as a foundation to start a career in the hospitality. However the course has been decided by the central government and the same is followed in all IHM's. Maybe they can bring out a new structure as per the present trends

Well during my batch there was ample time and mostly being at home wasn't my kind. I took a lot of internships mostly in Hilton and there's ample of opportunities to do internship as we have almost one semester dedicated for our industrial training and we undergo various departments. Considering the hotels having a busy operations they do take a lot of students from various hotels across india and we are placed as per our outreach to the particular hotel and if we get selected. The stipend during my training phase had been very limited but now the market is doing better and better stipend is being provided

Well the placements is really good and the ROI is well compensated. Again it truly lies on each student how they showcase during their placements. We roughly had around 20 companies for our placements during covid however it has increased i believe

The course is structured well and their is a sudden increase in the fees as well. Being a central government Institute a lot of opportunities and growth is confirmed and best part is we had to pay the fees semester wise and being a batch during covid. There was financial support aid provided as well. I belonged to general category so i didn't have any scholarship however there are few schemes from the local government as well. The tution fees for my batch was roughly around 3.5lakhs not including the hostel however we had to pay semester wise with a total of 6 semester for 03 years course

Well there's a lot of cultural activities and team building events and projects. It was so fun from running a restaurant to lots of exposure and training in various hotels to gain insights and being a course on tourism and hospitality a lot of events would take place and we would have soo many events and competitions to participate in. We also had sports day to conduct various sports events and we had houses or teams a student represented

Hostel is very comfortable however there maybe times when one feels to go take a place outside campus. Believe me hostel is the best place for you have safety, comfort and care. The warden is nice and food is a rotational menu and its prepared in a hygiene products manner. Even the faculty have food provided by the hostel mess

Well personally one I am based out near to the college and would be convenient for me to go back to hometown if necessary And i was recommended by former professionals who passed out from this college

We had exams semester wise and a final exam which was conducted for all the IHM year wise. Faculty is very friendly and supporting they have lot of experience and were excellent mentors. Pai chef has been the pillar in terms of kitchen as that is one subject i found difficult but he would engage with me and take keen attention and assign me tasks to do better
