COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

food and beverage production and service curriculum was thorough and well organized with entreupreneurship subjects as well which caught my attention. the curriculum builds strong foundation of basics and encourages you to build further with current industry practices, trends, and innovative ideas of our own. the college even encourages students who have business plans of their own to develope. the IEDC cell helps with guidance in developing the business inlcuding guidance with licenses and regulations that need to be followed for the business

The college helps us get placed in 5 star properties for 6 month internhsips with brnads such as Taj, Four Seasons, Grand Hyatt, Sheraton, Marriott, Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, etc. Everyone gets exposure in all the departments (4 core departments and any additional departments of their liking)

the college helps in placement for internships and jobs. in the sixth semester the college helps us get placed in 5 star hotels for internships/industrial exposure training. in the 7th and 8th sem the college helps everyone get placed in companies in and out of India in varying posts such as GSA (Guest Service Asssociate) which is basic level, HOT (Hotel Operation Trainee) which is supervisory level and MT (Management Trainee) which is managerial level the college has 98-100% placement every year there are great partner colleges in and out of India as well for students who wish to pursue higher studies after their BHM degree

for general category the fees structure is as such Admission fee 500 the Tuition fee is 75000 there is a Special fee of 100000 Cautuion deposit is 10000 Other fees cost 140 PTA 1000 Grand Total fee 96640 for SC/ST category students there is an e-grant available

events: the college conducts multiple food fests, national level conferences and festive celebrations every year Library: the library is well equipped with a large range of books pertaining to the course Activities: the different clubs and club activities are active and thriving of clubs: connoisseur club, sommelier club, sports club, paryavarna club, NSS, travel and tourism club, officina frontial club, esperanza club

the hostel is located inside the campus, the rooms are shared by three people, there is daily room cleaning, cctv survaillance, there is a chapel, there is veg and non veg options everyday, the hostel follows a cyclic menu, there is free wifi, parking facilities are available, PG options are less in the area but available nonetheless

This is the only college under MG university so I decided to study here. the curriculum was well designed even for a college that is fairly new and the cut off for eligibility was not difficult too meet either.

Faculty to student ratio is 1:20 the faculty here are quite approchable there are two internal exams every semester and a semester exam at the end of every semester. (8 semesters in total) the management subjects (1-2 subjects every sem) may be difficult for some students but the rest are easy to learn. all the courses and curriculum are relevant and essential with value added programs for additional enhancement

the hostel curfew is at 6:30. there is a gym, a football ground, badminton court, volleyball court, basketball court for all the sports enthusiasts there is even a student run cafe in college till 6:30
