Admission to the SSM Polytechnic College will be done by a single window admission system, i.e, Centralized Admission Process (CAP). There is no need to qualify any entrance exam. Candidates just have to apply in online mode for admissions. The eligibility criteria is as follows:

  • Applicants should have an Indian Citizen and a native of the State Kerala.
  • Applicants must have qualified SSLC/ THSLC or any other equivalent examination with the combination of Mathematics, Science and English as compulsory subjects from any recognized board.
  • The selection and allotment of seats will be made on the basis of rank list prepared by DTE. 
  • Allotment of the seats will be published online on the official website of the admission portal which will be done in four rounds. After seat allotment, selected candidates must have to visit the allotted college for admission with all the required documents.
  • If there will be any vacant seats left even after the fourth round of seat allotment then there will be a special spot admission round will be conducted to fill the vacant seats.

  1. Visit the Official website of DTE.
  2. Click on the link relevant to the application form.
  3. Fill all the necessary information correctly.
  4. Applicants have to choose preferences for college and streams according to their interest. Take printout of the application form after submission for future preferences.
  5. Before the last date of registration, along with the hardcopy of application form, applicants must have to submit the required fee and all the other documents as required.
  6. After successful registration, a registration number will be issued to the applicant to verify the status of their registered application on the website.
  7. Applicants belonging to open category have to pay INR 150 and applicants belonging to SC and ST have to pay INR 75.
