Course Curriculum Overview
There are a total of six semesters and it's a three year course. The first two semester help us to know the basics and how to properly function within the campus. The third and the fourth semester basically have the IET divided on different batches of students.
Placement Experience
My college was situated just right next to the famour samudra beach and the world renowned Kovalam beach and the vizihijam port which was still under construction at that point of my study. I did my internship from Royal tulip luxury hotel in Kharghar Navi Mumbai.
College Events
There were a variety of different types of events or function right from the start of the curriculum and there were proper representative of each and every ebent. the different event which were taken was onam, catafest, Fandango, diwali, Christmas and a lot of different activities such as sports meet, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees structure is feasible as compared to other colleges in Kerala. Anually there was a fee and also the hostel fee. The fees were divided into each semester and there were scholarship and various grants also. If anyone is of the obc or any section they have increased chances of getting grants.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I have not opted for any loan and the fees were paid in installments by the parents also they had an extra hostel fees of rs 45000 which is for the students who were from outside of Kerala. The college had many scholarship and grants for the schedule caste and obc.
Campus Life
The campus life is the best part of the said college. There were a lot of events and lot of activities such as catafest and sports. the most awaited event each year was the Fandango which was the best event in which we get real life lessons on the ways the hotel industry works.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni were the best and very supportive of the juniors and there was no ragging cases in our college. All the seniors and juniors had a very healthey relationship with each other. Many of the seniors have also reached many great position and have also encouraged many juniors in the hotel field.
Admission
I got in through the nchmct jee exam held in the month of May and got 1908 AIR and got the opportunity to enter into my college of which the course started on July 20. All the uniform and the study material was provided by the the college after the first induction day.
Faculty
The faculty were the best of all worlds. Even the support staff and the principal were very helpful and assisted in any type of help required. All the different years have different faculty and all were very helpful. The faculty were on of the best resource in our college.
