As an nri student, my fee is quite high. I have to pay around 9lcs for 2 semesters.

Mediclaim and student development fee is 33600

The one time payment that i had to do was 998000
As for scholarships for NRI students, it is limited but special programs may apply under exceptional cases
My tution fees is overall 180000 this is for only sem 1 and for the sem 2 180000 overall for one year 360000 and nift also provide scholarships Name is SARTHAK they pay 25 % or 50% or full fees also it has criteria
Every year the fees increase by 20K, this year (2024) the academic fees per semester is 1.7L and the hostel fees are 1.7L for the year. the tution fees is 1.5L and the rest are mediclaim and other miscellaneous fees for exams and library.
There are scholarships and you can avail them if your family makes annually under a certain income. If your are eligible you can get upto 90% scholarship as well.
NIFT is expensive considering it's a government college. But studying design is probably even more expensive if you go to private colleges. Apart from that, you'll have to spend a lot on stationary throughout the course. NIFT provides different scholarship schemes. You can apply for it if you are eligible and you can get even up to 100% scholarship for the particular year that you applied for.
Loans are available with the tie up of Union Bank of India and Scholarships are available for people with low income which is scrutinized through a proper procedure
There a few of scholarships which one can avail to get fee rebate. The Student Loan option is offered by Union Bank and details are given out at the time of counselling. The loan amount is up to Rs. 8,00,000 - 10,00,000.
NIFT provides the Means Cum Merit scholar ship for the students whose father income is under 150000. They will provide the full college fee will be paid by the NIFT. Nift provides the scholar ships according to the father income.
We have all kind of scholarships like subsidy and other scholarships. We don't have loan facility, but still college will support you if we prefer for loan through our own.
