Candidates who have secured a seat in the SPOT Round are required to report to their allotted NIFT campus on July 31, 2024, for document verification and the orientation program.
New Delhi: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is currently undertaking the physical document verification process for cadidates who have been allotted seats in the SPOT Round of Counselling for the academic year 2024. As per the schedule, candidates are required to report to their respective allotted campuses on July 31, 2024. During this process, the institute will verify the authenticity of the documents submitted by the candidates as part of the admission process.
Following the document verification and orientation program, successful candidates will officially commence their academic journey at NIFT. The authority is yet to release further dates for NIFT admission 2024. Students will soon receive the course outline and syllabus for their respective programs.
Who is Eligible for the NIFT Round 4 Spot Round?
Candidates who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply for the spot Round:
- All the eligible candidates having a Common Merit Rank (CMR).
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat and have frozen it in previous rounds.
- Candidates who have not been allotted a seat in the previous rounds of Seat Allotment.
- Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the 1st to 4th Round but have not paid the fees.
- Candidates who have withdrawn the seat allotted in previous rounds of Seat Allotment.
- Candidates who became ineligible during document verification due to nonsubmission of a valid Category Certificate and now have a valid Category Certificate as per the Admissions Guidelines.
- Candidates with valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) who have not registered for Seat Allotment and or have not filled in preference/choice filling & not uploaded the required documents during the registration for seat allotment.
- All the eligible candidates having Common Merit Rank under NLEA (Lateral Entry Admission)
Who is not Eligible for the NIFT Round 4 Spot Round?
The below-mentioned candidates will not be eligible for the NIFT spot round admission:
- Candidates who have been rejected during the process of document verification due to not fulfilling the eligibility criteria OR not having the VALTD Category Certificate
- Candidates under Artisan Category
- Pure NRI candidates admitted based on SAT /GMAT/GRE Score
What Documents are Required for NIFT Counselling 2024 Spot Round?
The following documents are required for NIFT Counseling 2024 Spot Round:
- Latest Photograph
- 10th class mark sheet (only for Date of Birth) Self-attested copy of the 12th class mark sheet or Affidavit if result not declared by board Mandatory (provisional admission given in case of Affidavit)
- SC certificate
- ST certificate
- PWD certificate
- OBC (NC) certificate in the prescribed format (Certificate Issued not earlier than April 1, 2020)
- EWS Certificate in the prescribed format (Valid for the year 2024)
- 12th class School Leaving Certificate
