The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Government of Manipur, has released the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result. The result has been published on the official portal at manipurhealthdirectorate.mn.gov.in on September 16, 2026.

The Round 2 allotment covers admissions under the State Government quota, Management quota and NRI quota. It applies to MBBS, BDS and BASLP courses offered by participating institutes in Manipur.

Candidates can follow these steps to view and download the provisional allotment letter.

  2. Click on the NEET UG 2026 counselling link on the homepage.
  3. Log in using the registered application number and password.
  4. The Round 2 provisional allotment letter appears on screen.
  5. Download the letter and take a printout for reporting.

Freeze Float and Reject Options for Allotted Candidates

Candidates who have received an allotment must exercise a choice within the notified schedule. The DME has provided three options for Round 2 allottees.

  • Freeze: Accept the allotted seat and join the college.
  • Float: Accept the current seat but stay open to upgrade in later rounds.
  • Reject: Decline the allotted seat and exit the current round.

Candidates who reject a seat cannot claim the same seat again in later rounds. The refundable security deposit is forfeited if the admission is later cancelled by the candidate.
