West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has opened Phase 2 registration. This is for the Decentralised Counselling Admission Process (DCAP) 2026. How to Register for WBJEE Phase 2 Counselling 2026?

Candidates must complete registration through the official WBJEEB portal. The step-by-step process is given below.

1. Visit the official website at wbjeeb.nic.in.
2. Click on the WBJEE 2026 DCAP Phase 2 registration link.
3. Log in using existing WBJEE 2026 application credentials.
4. Confirm profile details and verify the eligibility category.
5. Pay the non-refundable registration fee of Rs 250.
6. Select choices from the published vacant seat matrix.
7. Submit the choices and download the confirmation slip.

Fee Structure for Phase 2 Counselling

Phase 2 counselling involves two separate payments. The second one is due only after seat allotment.

• Registration fee of Rs 250 is non-refundable and paid at registration.
• Seat acceptance fee of Rs 2,000 is paid after locking the allotted choice.

Payments can be made through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.

How Is the Merit List Prepared for Phase 2?

The Board prepares a separate merit list for every branch and institute. Candidates are ranked in the following priority order.

1. WBJEE 2026 rank holders come first in the merit list.
2. JEE Main 2026 rank holders follow next in the order.
3. Class 12 marks based ranking comes at the end.

The choices filled during registration carry no order of preference. All choices are treated equally at the time of allotment.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Only one valid counselling profile is allowed per candidate identity.
• Existing valid admissions will not be cancelled on registering here.
• Candidates on multiple allocation lists must lock only one choice.
• No fresh choice filling is allowed for the second allotment round.
