Indian Institute of Food Processing Technology (IIFPT) conducted its 2020 placement drive wherein a number of students from B.Tech. as well as M.Tech. got placed under different companies.
Over 40 students got placed under 19 private and government sectors. 32 students went to pursue higher education. Some of the top recruiters were- ITC Foods Ltd., Bangalore, MTR Foods, Bangalore, Britannia Industries Ltd., Bangalore, TATA Smart Foods Pvt. Ltd., CavinKare Ltd., Chennai, and etc.

There are no placements in our college. Placements were low for our seniors and were not effective. The placement percentage was below 20%. The average salary offered for B.Tech students is Rs. 10,000 to 15,000 per month. Companies that visited are Aachi Masala, Naaga, etc.

Placements in our college is pretty decent. Many companies visited our campus this year compared to the previous batch. But still there is a lot of scope for improvement. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA. There is a placement cell which deals with all the placement activities. Students have to search for internships on their own.
